It doesn’t matter. It can be his family’s home, his home in the off-season, or an investment property. Young man could get injured or not pan out in the pros ( which I HIGHLY DOUBT). He’ll always have a place to stay or something he can put on the market, rent out, he can Air B& B it. You never know. Smart investment

Owning > everything, especially in this day and age.

Smart kid, houses won't get any cheaper in the future.
 
Good for him. Reasonable investment as long as he/his agent did the homework.

But seriously, who cares.

Why was this even porsted?

I mean, finally, players are getting paid above the table. It’s a more free market, as opposed to the SEC/NCAA hegemony.

We should all be OK with that, and other than wishing players smart and good investment luck, we don’t need to be micro inspecting their spending.
