Congrats but some typical head scratchers in here….

ACC Unveils 2021-22 Men’s Basketball Awards

Wake Forest graduate forward Alondes Williams has been chosen as the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year and Demon Deacons head coach Steve Forbes is the ACC Coach of the Year, highlighting the 2021-22 All-ACC Men’s Basketball Team and award winners.

Surprised Coach L only got 3 votes for ACC Coach of the Year. That put him 3rd in the voting with Forbes getting 46 votes and Brey 13.

Case could certainly be easily made for Forbes but L's getting the Canes finishing 4th (from being picked 12th), IMO, is a better job than Brey did.

Well done gentlemen

I like Anthony's skill set and keep hoping he'll yet put it all together. Finishing 3rd in 6th man voting, though, seems a bit rich.

The fact that Alondes Williams was mediocre at best at OU, but won ACC POY in his first year at Wake probably isn't a great sign for the ACC.
