This has to be sarcasm.
They shot their mom in the face, to “finish her off”…with a shotgun
Let them rot in jail.

EDIT;
Add they covered it up ‘till someone came forward with knowledge of the murders (the boy’s shink’s mistress).
IF they had done it, and walked straight to the BHPD, saying, we couldn’t take it anymore, I may have been more understanding.

Not now, not after the attempted cover-up and them burning through 150k in a few weeks.

pretty sure this is false... I think the DA said "new evidence" was brought back in 2023 but not enough for a mistrial, essentially more family saying the household was dysfunctional and referenced the sexual abuse. The DA also said based on how the law was back then. they were sentenced appropriately. NOW the law is more lenient for vol. manslaughter, plus they have apparently been well behaved in prison and thinks they could be reformed and are no longer dangers to society.

My issue with this is simple. If not for how heinous the crime was and how rich and lavishly and foolishly they spent money, this is a non-story. No one is revisiting this 30 years later to give them a second chance. I am sure there are multiple people who experienced the same type of hardships of sexual abuse and a dysfunctional family while not living in million dollar homes and their cases are not being revisited. **** the Kardashian is writing opinion pieces on why they should be released. I am all for getting the right call at the end of the day but to me all this signifies is if you are going to commit a crime, do it in the most wild way possible and you have a chance of a netflix show and the public pushing for a release and you might get it.
 
Geroge Gascon is the DA. Now I understand what's happening.

He is a poster child for bending over backwards for criminals.

Exactly... If that tiger king dude was in jail in Cali he would also be released. Gascon is charmin soft and loves to be in the limelight

You can’t look at a 30-year old case through today’s lenses.

Just take a look at their actions from the night of the murder to when the mistress went to the police.

I wouldnt say all BS, I mean it is, but the DA did make the recommendation thinking they were no longer a danger to society and made the exact argument you and I are against, looking at todays law and lens for a 30 year case. He even said because the law is different now they would be sentenced differently but back then it was correct. So It still may happen, nothing in Cali would surprise me but you and I are on the same page.
