No way ST26 goes anywhere besides Miami. He loves Miami. Everything else you say I agree with!!

I know its blasphemy to say I love st hes my fave all time player in any sport..............by a long shot. But its possible he would go elsewhere its very highly possible thats the truth. I know he didnt he came to the U but im saying in todays time we arent getting those players they are leaving. Those r the trues and I have to explain it like that so some people can understand that its different now,. Cause no matter what anyone says ST was a 5 star player just watch the tape, but we had first dibs cause no one really knew.....not today they know whos who

No I totally agree with you and he is BY FAR my favorite player of all time. I just feel that some people have a stronger connection to community than themselves. They feel they can make it wherever they go and I truely believe he was one of those cats like Duke Johnson. Of course this is all speculation on my part.

Its just some fans dont get its a different time and use that whole 3 star argument that we can be dominant with 3 stars. Thats total BS

Ala ED Reed being a 2 star. I get it. He most likely would not be a 2 star now a days. I do agree that we need dogs and winners who don’t expect anything else.

this is why i trust butch hes a closer and i remember that unc team before the BS. They played LSU physical they lost but had 9 guys out and they had numerous nfl guys that did things in the league and that was at UNC imagine here?

I believe in that guy

Alabama, Georgia and Clemson don’t have 2 stars now a days

SEC has always been about their teams. It’s not like Alabama started liking football when Saban showed up.

And they’ve been dropping bags since before we were born.

But they weren’t always this dominant.

Difference is all the recruiting services mean there are not as many “hidden gems” as before.

Another difference is Miami used have elite coaching, and the program used to do whatever it took to win. In our day, we dropped bags. We used steroids. We had tutors taking tests for kids.

Our practices were legendary for how god**** brutal they were. Jimmy’s especially.

Time has changed a lot of things. You can only practice so many hours anymore, by NCAA rules. You can’t have football dorms. Add these two things to the fact that we’re hiring weak *** “players coaches” and it’s a recipe for South Florida kids to lose focus and lollygag.

South Florida kids need structure more than most other kids. For the past 15 years, our players have looked lost on the field. That wouldn’t have happened under Jimmy because we practiced twice as much, and the players were housed in football dorms. We wouldn’t be dealing with a pornstar QB and having to beg kids to watch game film.

Kids from other parts of the country are more mature and disciplined. Just look at Wisconsin vs us. We looked totally unprepared, and that’s been our look for the past 15 years since the rule changes.

Yea I know we (Miami) are shi** right now but man funk Bama,Uga & Clemson ok...I’m tired of hearing about them....y’all so called Miami fans do something about it...soft a** fans slurping up other teams.....go cheer for them!!
 
Guys dont fly under the radar like previous decades. ****, look at Josh Jacobs. He was a 2-star RB out of Tulsa, OK. BAMA still found him! And signed him along with all the 5 star talent they already have. With the camps, 7on7, and social media, I dont think you will have a player like ST26 not have every coach in america sitting outside his door or even just DMing him.

After watching BAMA last night, I dont blame any kid in america for wanting to play for them. Dominate at all levels! We could compete with an admin that cares as much about winning at those in Clemson/Bama/UGA do. But right now, we are content with 8+ wins and a bowl game appearance.
 
We lack explosive strength on both sides ol LOS. sure we have quickness on Dline but we get bullied by teams
LSU, Clemson, Whisky twice. We have not had explosive strength since Moffet who worked for Butch left.
A top level S&C guy will cosy 650-800 K and is worth it if you want to get to the playoffs.
BTW when Urban retired in his presser the first coach he thanked for staying was the S&C coach, the second was the recruiting
coordinator.
a note on the star process, there accurate these days as everyone has been scouted and filmed. My nephew
played in KY. and received interest from Miami of Ohio, Dennison, and smaller schools and they always asked for film
and he was able to provide. point being there are very few hidden gems due to pressure from all schools on talent accquistion
