In one season he destroyed what it took Lovie Smith over a decade to built.

His freaking play sheet was a cue card.

If Mario says he wants him too be his DC then Miami needs to end the interview
 
That isn't the only possibility, just one of about 3 he is truly considering. I'm curious to see what happens though
 
Tucker isn't a 100% for sure, but Pete is right, he is in consideration. But he might go for another Db coach who might be due a shot at DC and knows how to kill it on the recruiting trail also.

As a Diehard Chicago Bears fan, I will say this...if Cristobal is hired, I will not watch another Canes game on TV; however; if he brings Mel Tucker w him, I will make it a goal to go to a Canes game just so I can wait for Tucker after the game and rock his jaw loose from his face. I absolutely HATE Mel Tucker and his Beijing spray on hair line!

I can definitely get behind this post.
 
Mel Tucker would easily be the best DC at Miami since Randy Shannon. Easily. He has turned Bama's secondary around immediately and has their secondary playing like the best secondary in college football. With that said, if Kirby Smart leaves Bama I think Mel Tucker becomes DC at Bama. Mel Tucker is a 3 time NFL DC in addition to being one of the best secondary coaches in football.

People laughed when I said why not hire Corey Raymond from lsu for defensive coordinator earlier this week. Why not? He is a top 5 recruiter in the nation and has elite coaching skills. Will lockdown any player in recruiting...
 
Corey is a great name, he has knows how to get his guys. I personally do not care much about the DC down here for one reason, our defense should be simple with our athletes. We have the speed to play a simple press man to man outside and let our DL pin their ears back and just pass rush in a 1 gap D. We can play a simple cover 2 with our safeties, it really doesn't need to be overly complicated. We just cannot continue to play this soft zone with a 2 gap up front. I am definitely a fan of promoting a DB coach that knows how to maximize Dbs to DC...How about Trob, he is at AU with Muschamp as DB coach and probably long overdue a look at DC.
