21. Houston Texans: David Njoku, TE, Miami
Charlie Campbell has this selection posted in his mock draft, and I liked it a lot, so I chose to copy it. The Texans could use an intermediate threat, and perhaps they'll fall in love with David Njoku if he declares for the 2017 NFL Draft. Njoku's talent level is unreal, and there's a ton of hype surrounding him right now.

I could see it but there are a lot of talented receiving TEs in this class. Gonna have to really separate himself from the lot. Needs to have a great combine.

Me personally, I don't know how you don't take Jake Butt before any TE as of right now.

But he's from New Jersey. A 3 star player in NJ is equal to a 2 star player in Florida. Golden should only focus on South Florida and stop going after these coal shovelers.

OJ Howard could easily be drafted before him.

PFF has Howard graded as one of the most balanced TE's in cfb (including as the best run blocking TE in the nation, and predicts him to win the John Mackey Award:
"The nation’s most balanced tight end, Howard led the way with an 82.0 grade as a run blocker to go with a strong 78.6 grade as a receiver. He caught all but one of his 38 catchable targets while averaging 7.2 yards after the catch per reception. Alabama fans may still be waiting for Howard to be unleashed in the passing game but his weekly contribution in all phases does not go unnoticed."

Howard Leggett Butt will all go before david, but he could sneak up there with his combine performance

Lol @ OJ Howard. Dude can't block that we'll I could care less what pff says. Add to it he is the king of the 5 yard dump off and run out of bounds.

Every year our fans under rate our guys for envy of other programs. Nfl scouts give a f÷ck about that..um pedigree at the te position gives a bump just based off that. He'll Eric Swoope our former power forward is logging mins at TE this year. If Njoku decides to enter..he will make alot of the names touted in here look regular at the combine. Howard has Brad Kayaa legs lmao

Wouldn't be surprised if njoku has the. Best combine performer out of the lot. And chill with that Howard talk. Even the smarter fans know he underperformed his entire college career. He only had one great game against Clemson last year

Butt will be a JAG in the league.

I can easily see Njoku being the first TE in the draft. Hard to say anyone's draft position until after the combine, but I would think he'd test off the charts. He needs to turn pro.

Preach it. These bums in here try so hard not to look like homers that they wind up overhyping other teams' players and underappreciating the talents of ours. There's dudes in here actually saying slow *** scrawny Jake Butt is a better pro prospect than Njoku.

still hope he comes back help the program and still get back draft status without any doubt next year.
