Mel Kiper-like breakdown of JW15 from the WEZ

The fact we start out the game throwing instead of running against one of the worst run defenses in the country is asinine. Of the few runs we did early on only a couple went less for five yards and most were closer to 10 yard pickups. Then we get behind by two score and Penos decides the run game is the way to go and we burn clock while were behind.

Penos wants to get too cute in my opinion. Enough with the play action, te sweeps, and stretch runs to the short side of the field. Do some research and game plan to exploit the defenses weaknesses. Then once you find what works stick with it.
Is atrocious. In the 3rd quarter he finally got the hint to run the ball. To late by then.

I know Enos has his faults but good lord all JW had to do was looked at the flats and outside; you could tell FIU was not going to give him the inside slant and the deep middle, they were giving us the run : JW first he wouldn't looked deep, everything was short, now he won't check down, and everything is a force slant or deep good grief > my problem with Enos is change it up, go no huddle try and generate some excitement, 3 rd quarter you down 2/3 scores quit huddling .

The blame for this fkn travesty of a performance should be widely and liberally applied. The offensive game plan was absolute nonsense. It was plain as the nose on your face FIU was horrible against the run and it's not like this was a KNOWN STATISTIC or anything. My 10-year old asked why we weren't running more in the second quarter and he doesn't even play football.

BUT

as dumb as the playcalling was, JW's decision-making was equally horrendous. He was getting rattled and staring down receivers, then forcing throws into double coverage when other receivers were open or running free. I have a hard time placing JW not going through his reads at Enos' feet, you know he is coached to do it, he simply has to execute.

At the same time tho, the defense wasn't any better. Rousseau, the second coming of DL Jesus : 2 or 3 tackles, zero sacks. Against FIU ffs. Everybody is *****ing about the offense, and rightfully so, but we seriously can't sack James Morgan or make some negative plays against FIU? We can't recover ONE turnover against FIU?

I swear to god, I would keep Louis Hedley and ditch half these dancing clowns lmao. Most consistent player on the team.

BOOM. Said it another thread, the dude wont use his check downs to save his life. Enos was calling the game backwards smfh.

Not going to trash the kid, but he was always fools gold.

Hes had multiple dropped INTs in every game hes started. It's also pretty clear hes not prepping properly.

Bud Foster said aloud the blueprint DCs are using against him. Butch obviously saw the same thing.

Not the guy.

Agree, 4th quarter Williams goes 14-21 121 yards and 2TD. Enos has no feel for how the game is going, and adjusts to late. And he does not use his best skill players.

Part of your opinion has some relative merit. BUT, Davis and his DC went " ZONE " in the fourth-quarter and that's when JW, and Eno's, woke up.:ttdg2m10mxvzxan.jpg: I guess Davis was PROTECTING the lead and all that. For example, FIU was primarily playing MAN the entire 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarters. Also, Miami's running game finally start clicking in the fourth-quarter which helped out both JW and his main man Eno's.

Nevertheless, JW was so LUCKY because FIU DB's literally DROPPED two interceptions and the score probably would have been a FIU TWENTY POINT winning margin. OUCH.

JW only KEYS in on his primary target. That's why he misses do many open receiver's! It's the eleventh game of the season and one would have figured he would have broken that very bad habit by now.

And dig this. I bet Duke plays a lot of man coverage this Saturn day.

Also, there was NO SENSE of urgency by both Diaz and Eno's the entire third-quarter. Miami should have been faster on offense instead operating like the score was TIED or Miami had a seven or ten point lead. Yikes.

Yep. Both Foster and Davis-DC primarily played man. And the both KNOW he laser's in on his primary receiver, too. Ouch. Just watch the replay of the game!

This is a story we've been hearing for decades now: inexperienced Miami QBs who lock in on one receiver. I remember people complaining about the same thing with Kyle Wright. Why is this always a problem with our QBs?

After the first couple series that is on the OC for not noting it and and coaching is QB on what they are doing. JW is a RS Frosh. He may have thrown 6 TDS 2 weeks ago which shows his talent but doesn’t mean he doesn’t need direction. Enos failed him Saturday by not helping him out.

JW has talent but does seem to a be a soft crybaby with ZERO leadership skills. When he's on (UL) sure he's great but when he gets a bit rattled, he's ******* awful. Dr Jekyl and Mr Jarren. Not the guy.

TVD. The Savior We Need. The Savior We Dont Deserve (let us pray)

Perry isn't Jesus Christ but he would have won that game on Saturday. No doubt. But none of these coaches like to see a young man living life with big swinging ****. The hate is real out there and I got a feeling it's Enos leading the hate parade on a young man.
