2027 Mekai Brown 4* DE from Greenwich, CT (Greenwich Country Day)



Drove by Greenwich Country Day this morning figured I'd post up... This is GCDS, where Mekai goes to school.

It is in the backcountry of Greenwich, lots and lots of ollllllllld money...

He said its hilarious seeing him on the field compared to some of these kids

I didn't want to **** in everyone's cheerios... Truth is the competition up here is not the greatest. I remember when Greenwich HS (different from GCDS) flew down to play some team in Florida and got absolutely SMOKED.

We were recruiting a LB they had. Think he chose Florida. Nonetheless, that was the last I heard of that guy.
 
I grew up in Greenwich Ct in the 1960's and very early 70's. Could not think of a better town in the USA to be raised in. I'm extremely familiar with Greenwich HS, Brunswick HS, GCDS, and the defunct St Mary HS where I attended HS. Tyler Van Dyke is from CT and Steve Young played at Greenwich HS too. I played with Timmy Teufel at St Mary's HS who played for the Minnesota Twins and the NY Mets. Just because the competiton is not like Florida doesn't mean that Mekai Brown cannot compete and start at the U.

Hey, Nick. You're right, Greenwich is an amazing place to reside. You're also correct that just because Mekai plays football in Greenwich doesn't mean that he cannot compete and start at the U.

Truth is the comp. at RCDS, Brunswick, etc. absolutely blows the fattest of *****. I won't mislead my Cane brethren into thinking GCDS is some prep powerhouse. It's not. It's a very posh private school tucked in the back country with no real history of football success. They lucked out with him, nothing more or less.

Nah. F all that. I want him to enjoy perfect health but the game to be too fast and physical. Just like Bar Milo. Hopefully homeboy transfers to Tufts or some wack D3 that is more his level. I do not want any of our playoff opponents or ND or USC to improve. I hope he never helps any of those teams ever win a game.
