All four of the new guys: Ivey, Gilbert, Blades, and Bethel are built out of a lab. We know (or at least it's trending that way) that the first two can play, can the other two? This is where Rumph earns his paycheck.

Rumph better coach them up. The instructional aspect of coaching is his strength. Pulling blue chip recruits,not so much.
 
If only Malek Young didn't get hurt. Our CB rotation would have been PERFECT with Mike Jack and Young starting, Bandy in the slot. Dean, Ivey, and Frierson in reserve.

Now, we'll depend on at least one of Bethel and Blades to fill that 6th slot. Both have unreal potential but i don't want to throw either of them into the mix as true FR.

How many times have our elite D's been wasted due to our sputtering offenses.
