Why is a bye week now viewed as needed in the CFP? Bye week teams are now 1-7 in the playoffs for the past 2 years. Yes, Indiana took advantage of it. However, they are an outlier. The data shows a bye week is a killer more often than not.

Now you're talking. Until they get rid of the bye week by expanding the playoff or make it so the bye week teams don't need to wait over a month to play, I think the bye week teams will continue to struggle overall.

Make it like the NFL bye week, one extra week off, not 2 and a half.

I am not the biggest Dante Moore fan, but I don't really think it takes that these guys are doing all that wrong. If he had come out, he was gonna be the number two quarterback pick that needs the number two pick overall in the draft so to act like he doesn't belong highly rated back in college football isn't exactly the best take even though I don't really personally love him
