Official roster says 6'2" and it usually doesn't short change guys. If anything it gives them an inch or 2.

I think he was under 170 coming in so now he should be around 190. For his height and frame 200-205 should be big enough to hold up physically.

My bad, I was off 5 pounds, he came in at 150 so the 26 pound gain got him to 176.. Still a ways to go..

Tried to tell them when the discussion came up with him vs. Izzy.. If Izzy gain 20 pounds he will be in a decent zone to be ready to play, If dereon gained 20 he would just be reaching where Izzy is right now!! And I underestimated it..

The good thing is he put the work in on front end, because I think before enrolling he was pointing to kevin jennings and saying his weight was fine, glad that got tossed out the window ASAP and the work was put in.. Now he can adjust to weight and then do it again as soon as season ends to give himself a real chance to actually play.. Before it was a non starter, which is something many fans didnt understand.. Arm talent means nothing if you 150 lol..

Just happy he used some NIL money to holla at @JHallCanes , smart young man fr..
