Meanwhile on the F$U Board...

Rick better stomp on their neck and not let off the gas until the very last second. We need anal sabotazation for our recruiting game.

Agreed, protecting the ball will be critical in the game. Perry can’t throw into double coverage like he did in the UNC game last Thursday night. He had the same throw against Savannah St and made it; obviously the talent level and speed of the game will become that much faster for him and the offense. It’s key he doesn’t do something stupid that could cost us points, or give them some. The last half of the UNC game he became extremely sloppy with the ball. I’m hoping that he has it now out of his system so that he remains focused for the full 60 minutes come Saturday. If he plays to his potential we could see Rosier or Weldon in for mop up duty come the 4th quarter. Remember - we haven’t beaten this team at home since 2004. That’s 7 straight losses to these pricks at our house. I’m tired of it and I pray Richt brings that stat up to the team to keep their focus squarely on the Semenholes. We do that, then we’ll march out of Hard Rock with a convincing victory.

O Line, O Line and O Line. Our D Line is going to feast on their weak a&& O Line. Not worried one bit about that. It's our O Line. If they come to play then we win convincingly.

Actually, had the WR not been slammed in the back before the ball arrives, it's more than likely caught. Sometimes a QB has to make tough throws. That was one such throw. The last thing I want is a neutered QB that is afraid to make a tough throw.

They were worse last year, Francious is better than Blackmon

Have you seen Francois this year? He doesn’t use his legs at all and he’s erratic as ****. It doesn’t help that his OL is a disaster. But nothing of his product this year indicates he’s much better than anyone

There is a huge upside to turnovers to FSU. They have to put the Dora the Explorer backpack.

You guys freaking yourselves out into thinking we don’t roll in here? Lol

What I don't get with the FSU fans.....they take pride in recruiting rankings. Their current squad, 3 of the past 4 years, ended up with a top 5 recruiting class. For them to say they have no talent or this is the worst team in years.....I call BS!! I just hope that we beat the brakes off their team....although it will be a tough task. And I am not one to pencil in a win before the game starts.

I don't think they were worse last year. They just gave up after the UM loss. Their trenches are worse than last year. This year's team has no depth on either side of the trenches especially on offense. They feel better about their o-line after playing Louisville, but Louisville has nowhere close to the trench bullies we have.

Also, their secondary isn't that good either. They gave up nearly 500 yards thru the air to FCS Sanford's QB. Louisville had 300 with a QB more inaccurate than Rosier. He missed several wide open deep throws that would have been 50+ touchdowns.

Without the Louisville 2 minute debacle, FSU would have had < 300 yards of offense if Louisville ran out the clock. FSU was 3/13 on 3rd down while Louisville's weak *** offense was 10/19 on 3rd down. FSU rushed for 75 yards on 31 carries.
These stats don't speak very highly for FSU's offense or defense.

Maybe Florida State puts it all together this week, but I doubt it. They will have some false swag after pulling out a game they were outplayed in. They will be game. They will play with heart. However, their weaknesses will be exposed. By the 4th quarter, they will throw in the towel not being able to stop the run or the pass while their offense will be one dimensional not being able to run the ball. Francois will be sacked 5+ times. I expect 3 sacks in the 1st half. I am doubtful that Francois finishes the game.

I'm really expecting us to win by 3 touchdowns. 38 -10 or 38-17. Could even turn into Notre Dame 2.0 (48-3 or 48-10).

FSU is relying on big plays on offense. They’ll screen a lot early to suck us in and try to go deep

On the flip side, their corners are not very good vs big WRs. And their run defense is suspect. I expect guys like Cager and Jordan and Mallory to have big games. And langham of course

One of FSUs runs was a long one by Akers (iirc)

This is their first game with OL in tact. They get another starter back this week according to the Trailerhassee newspaper.

Good - we get to extinguish any false hope they are trying to grasp onto based on squeaking by Louisville and getting a couple mediocre OL back

I'd love to read the rationale there. There is not enough sample size to proclaim it either way. But, he does throw a really nice ball and is elusive.
