Meanwhile in Gainesville…

I think the Gators actually made a good hire here.

I dont like Kelly, apart from the fact that Notre Dame is the most overhyped thing since Germans and them allegedly being smart.

He's going to do well at LSU.
Only financially.

Kelly is a good coach not a great one. He is 3-8 at ND against top 5 teams losing by more than 14 points in 5 of those losses. He's not going to be any better at LSU. He's made a living and earned all those wins against mostly mediocre teams. He will face at least 5 ranked teams within the SEC each year. He's going to have a tough time finishing in the middle of the pack in the SEC West. He has to face Saban, Jimbo, Lane, and the Pirate. He also has to play Auburn and Arkansas plus 2 games against the SEC East.

He'll never sniff an SEC West division title until Saban retires. I predict he gets fired in 3 years. The expectations at LSU are extremely high and unrealistic in my opinion. They won't accept anything less than an SEC title and CFP playoff birth with the ultimate expectation of a natty. He's getting $15 million per year to win a national championship not a participation trophy. It ain't going to happen.

Looks like the Gators may have passed on Brian Kelly. Say what you will, but the guy would’ve been a better hire than Napier by a mile.

Who knows, Napier could work out. He did really well in Louisiana. But UF is taking a chance on him like they did with Muschamp and Mac.

And yes. You already know that Gator fans have been arguing that Napier is “clearly” a better hire than Kelly would’ve been.

I promise you Louisiana can beat a whole lot of P5 teams.

kelly is a 6-7 loss a year coach in the SEC, he couldn't even run the table with their hand picked play nobody schedule. now he actually has to play hard teams.
You literally have no data to support that claim.

He’s posted an elite win % for a team that has a blue chip ratio of 55%.

And has proven he can coach to consistently beat teams he has more talent than.

I know the SEC as a conference is strong at the top but the reality is he’s playing 2-3 tough games a year.

Will have stacked team around 65% blue chip ratio

And He clearly sees this as a chance to actually win a championship and get paid way more money to do,

He’s typically operating at a big talent disadvantage because of a academic restrictions for who ND can admit. He’s one of the best coaches in CFB. He’ll be fine.

Florida fans are so dumb. They really believe that Napier was an equal to better hire than Riley and Kelly. They legit are standing on that hill haha

Dude was callig around like yoo you wanna give me 150 milli?

Meanwhile in coral gables, we are waiting to try to penny pinch 2 mil..
the school is already taking orders from Mario and he isn't even the coach yet. he doesn't want Manny fired bc then he would have to answer questions about the Miami job opening.

ngl I'd he leaves us at the alter it's going to be hilarious.

he's going from one of the most admissions-selective major programs in the country to a school that a ham sandwich could graduate from. i think he'll have regular 10 win seasons there with the athletes he'll be able to get, plus baton rouge is a much easier sell to recruits than south bend. his biggest problem is that saban is still in his division.

LSU has won national championships during the Saban era with Ed Orgeron and Les Miles as head coach. I’d imagine they could have won more if they ever actually had a good head coach.

The latest in the cis delusion:

Brian Kelly is a trash coach 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Can’t make this **** up how wacked out some of y’all are. It’s frightening.

110-39 while In South Bend....... recruiting at an elite level in the modern era at that **** school.... HORRIBLE!

Napier has great evaluation and recruiting skills. I have seen him recruit who i thought were some of the best 2-3 star players at Louisiana, and I am pretty sure he doesn’t rely on recruiting websites. He is also a very good coach, and they develop players. I think he will make things very interesting in the SEC

Narrator: In fact nobody called UiF and this is just them trying to act like they were Kelly's first choice destination but they wanted Willie Napequeer more. But LSU need not take offense as they too are liars in pretending they had Kelly wrapped up a month ago as they try to save face from losing out on Lincon Riley by acting like they got their first choice.

The SEC- where we just lie more.
Lying is common now throughout the US even when the truth is apparent. As long as it fits their narrative they run with it. Fact remains we are the only school with a 2 week headstart still debating.
