Ereck Flowers - no. 12
Denzel Perryman - no. 32

I just wanted to share this with you cuz I just read his ESPN article behind paywall.

Thanks. I can see that. Both are menfolk. Flowers proved tough man stuff after that surgery. NFL likes that.

OT's are also far more valuable in this day and age. which surprised me so much that Henderson wasn't taken till the 7th rd despite his off the field issues.

I honestly don't understand all the hype over Flowers.

Yes on great size and as noted above, showed toughness in coming back as quickly as he did.

My problem is that he absolutely horrible when he's asked to move and block in space. The entire team is pretty bad at that. He's also good for a stupid penalty every game he's in, seemingly at critical times....then again most times have been critical for this team.

I just don't see him as being worthy of anything close to the 12th pick in the draft. I'd take a chance late 3rd or beyond but that's it. I also think he'll get eaten alive by a lot of speed rush ends in the league.

Perryman, right defense....he'll be a monster. I can only imagine how good (he was **** good here while improving every year in various facets of his game) he can become in the NFL when he gets good coaching and schemes. Potential HOF LB'er.

I don't know what McShay is looking at either... but he's way off all the time. He has the strength to anchor and gets good push, but doesn't have good lateral agility and can't hit a moving target at all. 2nd Rd. at best to me.

With Perryman, he has good speed and can find the back, scrape and get to the ball quickly. He also hits hard. But he doesn't cover well, has trouble shedding blocks, and can get fooled more than you can accept. He could become a decent LB'er, but I definitely don't see a Pro Bowler, let alone a HOFer.

Congrats to these youngs guys!! Hopefully they will bring the Canes back to First Round Relevancy in the NFL Draft!! Solid guys, who came to Miami and handled there business both on and off the field!!

I figure Flowers to be a RT in the NFL. If that's how NFL teams see him as well, it will likely drop him a little.

Flowers is a little overrated by McShay. I have Flowers as a mid-2nd. He's definitely had a very good career here. I think his best fit is at RT in the NFL which is why I mocked him to the Titans(my team). I mocked him in the 3rd(high 3rd) in my mock though lol. He anchors well, very good size, has good feet. I think he may have some trouble with speed-rushers in the NFL which is why I have him moving to RT. He gets good push in the run game and does a very good job in pass-pro. The best competition he faced this year was F$U and he shut whoever he faced down.

Don't see Flowers even close to 1st round. 3rd - 4th to me.

Perryman is a stud, and can see end of 1st round - early 2nd round. If Eagles did not need CB's and Safety so bad would hope they would draft him.
