will be interesting to see how this list ages.

1. Houston Texans

C.J. Stroud, QB, Ohio State*

2. Detroit Lions

Bryce Young, QB, Alabama*

3. New York Jets

Will Anderson Jr., DE, Alabama*

4. Jacksonville Jaguars

Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Ohio State*

5. Atlanta Falcons

Jalen Carter, DT, Georgia*

6. Carolina Panthers

Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida*

7. Chicago Bears

Jordan Addison, WR, Pittsburgh*

8. New York Giants

Will Levis, QB, Kentucky

9. Seattle Seahawks

Tyler Van Dyke, QB, Miami*

Van Dyke didn't consistently play like a first-rounder in nine starts last season, but the 6-foot-4, 224-pounder has the talent of a future franchise passer. The third-year sophomore just needs to take the next step this year. Seattle GM John Schneider and coach Pete Carroll seem to still legitimately like Drew Lock's potential as an NFL starter, but if the Seahawks have another disappointing season and another top-10 pick, they could be in the market for an upgrade.

10. Washington Commanders

Eli Ricks, CB, Alabama*

11. Pittsburgh Steelers
Paris Johnson Jr., OT, Ohio State*

12. Philadelphia Eagles (via NO)
Kelee Ringo, CB, Georgia*

13. Las Vegas Raiders
Peter Skoronski, OT, Northwestern*

14. Minnesota Vikings
Bryan Bresee, DT, Clemson*

15. New England Patriots
Noah Sewell, ILB, Oregon*

16. Miami Dolphins
Myles Murphy, DE, Clemson*

17. Tennessee Titans
Michael Mayer, TE, Notre Dame*

18. Indianapolis Colts
Derick Hall, DE, Auburn

19. Philadelphia Eagles
Bijan Robinson, RB, Texas*

20. Arizona Cardinals
Clark Phillips III, CB, Utah*

21. Baltimore Ravens
Kayshon Boutte, WR, LSU*

22. Cincinnati Bengals
Trenton Simpson, ILB, Clemson*

23. Houston Texans (via CLE)
BJ Ojulari, DE, LSU*

24. Dallas Cowboys
Henry To'oTo'o, ILB, Alabama

25. Seattle Seahawks (via DEN)
Joey Porter Jr., CB, Penn State*

26. Los Angeles Chargers
Zion Nelson, OT, Miami*

I actually had Nelson in my way-too-early mock this time last year, and he's back again after opting to return to Miami. Nelson has 33 starts and could be the answer opposite Rashawn Slater on the Chargers' offensive line.

27. Miami Dolphins (via SF)

Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Alabama*

28. Detroit Lions (via LAR)
Tony Grimes, CB, UNC*

29. Green Bay Packers
Emil Ekiyor Jr., G, Alabama

30. Kansas City Chiefs
Nolan Smith, OLB, Georgia

31. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Josh Downs, WR, UNC*

32. Buffalo Bills
Marvin Mims, WR, Oklahoma*

So TVD didn’t play like a first rounder at times while lighting up the stat sheet but Richardson who has a career TD/INT of 6/5 with his best ever passing game a blistering 167 yards is a better QB?
just speculating, but they are enamored with the fact that he's an athlete playing qb...he has that "it" factor...but yeah, I'll take a qb who can pass for 300/3tds all day every day instead.

If those 2 play near a first round level, this team should win more than 8 games.
If Zion is a first rounder next year I agree 100%. Clearly mcshay knows more than me but I’m not there yet with Zion. I see round 3 at the moment. If TVD’s blindside protection is a 1st rounder he has a chance to be 1st or 2nd qb drafted if receivers step up for him.

I do not understand the fascination with Richardson in some of these early mocks. The guy has done next to nothing in his college career. Not saying he can't be good, but ****, show it on the field first. TVD broke ACC records and was rolling after his first two starts.

Ok buddy. 5 QBs in the first round and all of them are top 10? That's certainly realistic.

We have to go back to 1983 when there was 6 QBs drafted in the first round and those names include: John Elway, Jim Kelly, and Dan Marino.

I think it’s too bad that a lot of Hurricane fanatics know Zions story and how he ended up at Miami. They struggle giving him credit for being one of the best LT’s in the country.

Miami had the #1 pass blocking unit in the ACC. He’s a huge part of that! No LT is going to win ALL of his one on one battles. It’s not realistic for even the considered best LT in the draft.

He kept mofos off of TVD coming off that edge allowing him to deliver darts and drop dimes those last 6 games. Check those 6 games to see how many sacks and pressures he allowed and then compare that with who’s considered the #1 LT in his draft class.

We all know who his new coaches are on that side of the ball. This is a money year for him. He’s protecting the blind side of one of the best QB’s in the country. Run blocking and functional strength was his weakness. I don’t think that’s going to be an issue for him next season. This is all based on him staying healthy of course. IMO

I don't want to hate on the guy b/c he's a Gator, but can someone objectively explain to me how the **** Richardson is a 1st round QB prospect? This is the second time I see it. I watched him play last year. Great athlete. Great runner. But really questionable as a passer. And that's with a very good OL, a very good run game, and a very capable offensive coach in Mullens. I mean, maybe he blows up this year but what has this guy put on tape thus far to suggest 1st round???

Also, if I had to bet, while Stroud/Young will be better collegiate players, I think TVD has the highest pro ceiling of them all and gets drafted ahead of both.

Zion is probably a better NFL prospect than he is college player. NFL teams are desperate for finesse, pass blocking left tackles with good feet and long arms. The fact that Nelson is an average run blocker means almost nothing to them. The NFL is a pass first league and pocket passers are still very much the popular choice. Even the athletic QBs are coached to stay in the pocket unless they have to run. College is a completely different beast. Every single NFL team threw the ball more than they ran it last year. Whereas 2/3 of college teams run the ball more than they throw it. A run blocker who struggles in pass protection can be good in college but he's worthless in the NFL.

I love hearing about Zion, our Canes family unit trashed and made fun of him to no end.

I’m sure he read all the NEG our Canes family shared, and all he did was work and trained never stopped and now a projected 1st rounder.

He’ll go to the NFL and know there wasn’t much love here for him and to just move forward and he’ll probably only mention coaching staff but ZERO about out Canes love we never showed him.

GOCANES

Zion was pretty solid pass blocking most of last season, and the OL generally looked much improved pass blocking once Clark took over at center. I remember going into the Forfeit State game Keir Thomas was getting hyped up and Zion basically stole his lunch money. At the end of the day, Zion's biggest issue is his run blocking (questionable strength at the POA, though he's athletic enough to get to the second level when he's asked to), but the NFL is a pass-happy league. If he continues to improve and keeps TVD upright, and shows even marginal improvement run blocking under the new staff, I could definitely see an NFL team picking Zion somewhere in that late 1st/early 2nd range.
