I feel you, but I dont think anyone had us going 10-0 before that year also.

Do I think we get that high, no. All im saying is if Richt could get that team to #2, its a punchers chance Mario could get this team to #4 with the staff he has brought in and everything aligns correctly. This site has been hollering for years that we should be winning the coastal compared to the other teams we play. Besides Clemson and T A&M, I feel confident against any other team on our schedule.

Actually, I think the team this year has a chance to be better than that Richt team. I'm just saying that before that season, that Richt team was not selected to be the number 2 team at the beginning of the season. They had to play their way into a #2 slot. I could see this team getting up to #4 if they should beat either Texas A&M or Clemson.

I'm as big a homer as there is out there, but I wouldn't vote the Canes as the #4 team this year without even seeing a game as to how they will perform for Mario.

I believe TVD will be top 10 this year, the secondary/DL will be MUCH MUCH improved based off of camp/depth.
But LB……..

He's way better than top 10. The word out of camp is he's Elite with almost every throw now. Kid's going to be a Heisman contender.
