Mckinnie on Rombergs show today

At this point I think some of our Alums do more harm than good to the program. There's no need for this to be public, then they will complain if a coach cut their access to the team. The OL coach doesn't need Romberg around just so he has something to say on his show
Someone has to hold these kids accountable. We all bash coaches for coach speak but when someone says something real it’s also wrong?

Would agree but the results of the O-line the last couple of years shows something really O-line bad with attitude. Searels we canned for a poor offensive line went to North Carolina and his line did well against Clemson. Need to bottom out and eliminate people as many of these slobs just eating and taking up space on the line. But maybe they are by having true freshmen like Nelson and Clark starting they are trying to do this. These idle slobs who have been here for a while not performing and having cliques are not going to transfer as they may have to work at another school and not be in the sun capital of the US.

"Barry was hired to do a job. " Then he should do it. He has been moving linemen around all year with no real results. Apparently these upperclassmen do not care if they are not starting. Apparently, they are just down here on this team for a place to say, free meals and enjoying the fun and sun.
He really hasn’t moved the line around much..which I don’t agree with..I’ll give Butch the young excuse for this year ONLY. Zion was muchhhh better the last 2 weeks. 53 has been solid..I expected the line to hold back whatever scheme improvements that were made..just for this one year Butch has the youth excuse..but they have to continue to show improvement these last 5 to six games..if we see repeats of UF or CMU..then I’ll be ****ed

🤣 this some pop Werner/ Highschool ****..bro wtf. This **** crazy..this offensive line ain’t ****..we all know this..but **** i don’t get the radio ****..As a alum if you tryna help give pointers and all that, great keep that between you and the players. If they not responsive, **** it. But you out here calling out the kids you tryna help on a radio show?? .thats why I think Ed Reed came out on twitter and said what he said. I know for a fact that a lot of our former players mentor the current kids and keep in touch. But airing that **** out..I don’t agree with it...I’m about to listen to the post right I send this lol

romberg (while i appreciate the info) has done that ever since hes been on the radio. hes a media guy and he knows the UM stuff def gives him ratings. i don't blame romberg bc hes earned his place in the UM world and hes trying to make a living post NFL career. in the end, romberg does care a ton about the university and its success (obviously) so i trust that hes also doing it out of emotion

If these alumni are going to "volunteer" to coach, what they see and hear should stay with them. If not, don't volunteer. That's just good practice in any business. They have no special privileges to talk outside the football facilities.

Exactly bro. Honestly if I’m the coach of any team and some **** like this went down..I’d cut access from someone who did this. Idgaf who you are as a alum..if you working with players you don’t point out the individual’s your working so you can something interesting to talk about on your radio show..

Apparently, there is an unusual amount of dead weight and dead heads on that offensive line just occupying space on the roster.

I get that..he obviously cares..all the former players do..and he can talk about UM football and be critical on the radio..I’m more talking from Bryant calling out individuals that you work with..I don’t think that’s cool. No matter who you are there’s always a right way or wrong way to go about things..give u this example, when Thomas Brown called out individuals (didn’t name) being a “disease” last year this whole board jumped on him on some “ u don’t throw your players under the bus “ bs. Now a former player, who not a coach, is calling out individuals that he’s giving advice to?..how is that not the same? Imo it’s worse

Like i said from the get go %90 of our problem is guys who dont care. That's not something u can coach. Richt found to many bandwagon canes u have to find guys who care about this program and have self respect

Said offensive line has different cliques, can't take criticism, none of our guys use their hands that's why their hands aren't taped (lol) & #75 was joking around while they tried to help. Romberg also said butch berry isn't very responsive when he has tried to help in practice.

Around 5 minutes in.

Right...Let’s not listen to one of the best to ever do it. Sounds about right these days.
