Awful post. There are 30 teams that are a "good QB" away from being really good.

Bottom line: McElwain showed no signs at all that he is an "offensive genius". Did you see a scheme/alignment/gameplan all year long that made you think that McElwain is an offensive guru? For a comparison, I would suggest that you check in on Baylor and see what they did with no quarterback at all.
