Move him to inside LB if Shaq leaves early. He doesn't have the feet for OLB.

Due to safety numbers I bet he stays. If Miami gets Smith Emerson Stevenson you have Carter Hall and move one of the freshman from this year to safety and tell Knowles to beat it or just use him on special teams only.

Man, can you imagine how difficult it would be to step in as a first time coordinator after having lost the leadership of Jaquan, Redwine, Shaq, Pinck, Willis, Joe Jack, and Mike Jack?? Three new starters in the secondary, two brand new starters with almost no PT at LB.

Hope Banda and Patke have fully considered what they have stepped in to. Fingers crossed, but it's really hard to see a positive outcome here unless these coaches convince everyone to come back, and even then they've got a really tall task ahead. Frankly, as has been discussed, even if Manny came back the D was likely to take a substantial step back.

Interesting. Not a prediction I would have made necessarily, but can't say I disagree with the logic. Hope they all come back, but yeah, I could definitely see that.

Cager to MD is all but a given.
