Max Kellerman....

Pretty much nailed it. Wish he’d talk about how everyone is justifying Clemson’s loss yet knocking our wins. Makes no sense

We should be #2 or #1 , but I like that the #2 team has to play us in a few weeks - possibly to get to the playoff.

A little extra motivation can't hurt - in addition to our guys remembering the last game vs Clemson.
 
Whether Max is a liked guy on this board or not is irrelevant. His point is the bias against Miami, how every "blue blood" school gets the benefit of the doubt, whether it's Notre Dame, OSU, Michigan, or any SEC school that's not Vanderbilt.

Miami has put up 5, and it easily could've been 8 had it not been for bogus calls in 88 and 2003 and the BCS computers ******** us in 2000. Somehow, we're not considered blue blood when we literally dominated for two decades. As a matter of fact, I would argue that if we were, let's say a Michigan, 88 and 2003 wouldn't have happened. If we were a Bama, I would argue we wouldn't have gotten screwed in 2000. Fact is they (media and NCAA committee members) do hate and disrespect us and our brand. We're the anti student body right/left and we dominated our way.

Notre Dame hasn't been "dominant" since the 50's and 60's w/ one fluke title in 88, yet, let them win their first 4 games against Army, Navy, Western State of Colorado, and Chaminade and watch them get bumped in to the top 8 and watch the media drool on their *****. The same can be said w/ the other aforementioned schools. We gets no respect, and I'm glad someone outside of our fan base said it.

ehhh.. just now he has danny sheridan on and they talk about how sheridan called the auburn and miami victories..then sheridan goes on to say how notre dame would only be about 6th or 7th best in the sec and that the canes would be about 4th or 5th best team in the sec...finebaum just nodded.. the hate in that guy is real.

Clemson will have problems with SC *****. I don't really care if they lose, but I see them losing that game in Columbia. Auburn will win the SEC. And OU will win the Big 12. I think it will be Us being number 1, OU #2 , Auburn #3 , Bama number #4 . Wisconsin loses either this week or In the Big champ v Ohio St. If they don't, then they replace Bama.

Who is danny sheridan and why should I care? Obviously he is ignorant about football and Finebum is a Bama bootlicker. Why does anyone watch that ESPN crap? I'd dump ESPN if I could, but I need it too watch CFB games.

And who is Max Kellerman? never seen him on a telecast. But I liked his diatribe.

Finebaum actually picked UM pre season to be a playoff contender. Not that I care. There is no logical reason to have Clemson ahead of us. People talk about their strength of schedule, but didn't we both play Syracuse? That's how you can compare teams, not by comparing games against unrelated opponents. Idiots.

Back in the '80s Danny Sheridan was CNNs CFB betting expert. He loved the Canes back then. He would come on their Sunday morning recap show and tell everyone what suckers they were for not betting on the Canes.

Sounds like he's developed some cognitive issues.
 
This committee is junk. OSU, OU, Bama and rest of SEC get the privilege of a lost counting more than a win. I'm fine with us behind Clemson because we play them and that ranking just assure them of getting an a... kicking like ND. My question is why weren't Miami and WI 3rd and 4th going into the week. There were 4 undefeated teams from major conferences and 4 slots yet two teams with LOSSES get in and now OU slips back in.

Clemson lost to a 2 bit team and it doesn't matter even when the undefeated team in their conference beat that same team. Now OU slip in when their claim to fame is they beat OSU -- who got their *** kicked by Iowa -- Iowa? I didn't know they still played football up there. Next they will want a 2 loss SEC team to get in because they bet a couple other SEC teams.

None of it matter because we will kill Clemson. OU will then be 3rd and WI will finally get in at 4. Bama plays WI and we play OU. We will beat the crap out of OU. They play no defense and rely completely on their QB who will be lucky to come out of a game against our defense alive. We will have 6 Turnover Chain awards in that game. Then we get the big boys for the final and THE RETURN OF THE U will be for all to see.

Danny Sheridan - lol. Blast from the past. He used to be THE oddsmaker for college football in the 80s.

A media member who truly gets it. To hear a non Miami guy say this is incredible. He knows they are setting up a one loss Miami to not make the playoff, but a one loss Notre Dame was the third best team in the country. Lol. Can someone send this to the committee?

Right, and half of NDs claim to fame was that they only lost to UGA by 1. I'm sure we'd get credit for a "quality loss".

For some reason I remember him being a fan or at least a vocal defender back in the early 2000s. Maybe I am making it up.
