Yeah it’s definitely that and not the fact that he’s a top 30 recruit. It’s strictly Will Wade fanboys.
Here we go with the “fanboys” schtick… so can’t discuss other teams or coaches on the basketball board either? Wild!

No one made a peep about him when he was committed here, so yes, it’s you and the Wade fanboys

What an insane post. Yeah, nobody said a word about him when he was committed to Miami…what a load of bull****.

A Top 30 recruit that people didn’t know about and/or didn’t talk about. The lies that are told on CIS…

Anything that disrupts the "rad is a genius, columbus mafia is undefeated and we just hired the nick saban of basketball recruiting in the greatest caper in history" narrative is not welcome. Poor suckers at NC ST and Texas were forced to hire guys with extensive coaching resumes after we took God's gift to basketball off the board. Obviously Duke only choked last night because the true brains of the operation was in coral gables... (heavy sarcasm in this post since some of you are looking for anything to pump up a questionable hire and have questionable reading comprehension skills)

Sunshine pumping only on this board.
Its really sad that some are determined to blindly follow and not ask obvious questions around a hire with a regime thats done nothing to give you unwavering confidence. These guys handed the reins to JD for gods sakes...

Consensus top 30 recruit, was Miami's highest rated recruit, and he goes to play for a proven HC we coukd've easily had.

Don't blame the kid
None of us blame the kid. Miami took a chance with Jai Lucas, which is frustrating when you realize that Miami could and should have been able to land an experienced, successful coach like Wade, McCollum, **** near anyone else. We have to hope that Lucas exceeds expectations, but it is a bit concerning when a coach whose only known major skill is recruiting struggles to do that one thing.

Struggles? You miss the three transfers we picked up last week?

I thought he was a defensive coaching genius as well. Got a lot of the credit for Duke's high defensive ranking.
