Miami went 7-6 last year and barely scored 3 points against a weak Wisconsin team. Manny didn't start with much either especially on offense where he got a team with seniors that were poorly coached for 3 years. Some of you guys act like he inherited a team that won 10 games each of the last 3 years. If it took Matt Rhule 3 to 4 years to get a team on the right track what makes you think that it won't take many at the minimum the same amount of time? Come on guys use your brains!!

He's making $3.5mill & just signed an extension through 2027 a month ago.

Manny is making $3.1mill, we're a dirt cheap amateur hour program & we're not going to pay what it takes to attract a good coach down here.

The administration doesn't spend money & doesn't give two sh*ts about the Football program.

Its 100% coaching. Miami doesn't have the talent/depth to win a NC but plenty to dominate a ****** Coastal every year.

I don’t necessarily disagree with the premise, but unlike Baylor, we’re weren’t coming off a scandal that destroyed the program.

We haven’t been good in 18 years. You aren’t wrong....but somehow this site and our fans take one boat ride by Manny at a dinner to think we reversed the **** show here... and expected a 7-6 team with no depth or great players to produce ....,

Ya, that’s pathetic. But if we paid Richt 4 million, then we can pay up for Rhule. Unfortunately, can and will are two different things.

True enough.

But a half-decent coach doesn't lose to this VT or this GT team under any circumstances. Especially at home. With 2 weeks before VT. Even in the 1st year. Those teams are that bad. This staph is by a mile the worst in Miami history and is probably the worst I've ever seen in Power 5.

Both games look awful on paper, but does the great coach avoid the 5 first half turnovers?

The injuries leaving us depleted today?

Zero kicking game?

Some of it- absolutely. Some of it— wtf is happening?

Funny how the only Temple coach we didn’t hire is the one who actually seems like he knows wtf he is doing
