Of course a good coach, assuming he can assemble a decent staff and recruit worth a ****, could be successful here. But Richt was the only guy with previous HC experience we hired since Erickson, and he was fired from UGA. He wasn't an up and coming HC plucked from a program of lesser stature. Ever since Butch we've promoted two coordinators from within, hired Temple's HC twice, and gave a washed up, albeit respected guy like Richt a chance.

Campbell, Rhule, etc. aren't coming unless Dwayne Johnson starts making one or two extra ****** movies a year and donates $40M to his alma matter for coaching salaries and bagmen.
