If outcoaching him means getting an unsportsmanlike conduct to hurt his team sure. If YOU watched the game ISU got lucky WSU dropped a few 3rd down conversions. If YOU watched the game if Campbell taught his players to actual tackle Minshaw wouldn't have some great scrambles and throws.

And if Leach didn’t get that Fumble and pick in ISU territory that ended up being 14 points then he would’ve lost the game because they weren’t even close to being efficient on O. Heacock shut his O down the entire night just like every good DC does. Campbell’s O played average and still was a field goal from winning(if they didn’t miss two field goals it wouldn’t have matter). Btw how does this even prove me wrong? I just said Campbell is bringing in ISU’s best class ever and it’s ranked 43 instead of 55. Leach classes the last 4 years were 42, 56, 44, and 45...Campbell’s classes have been 64, 55, and 55 since he’s been at ISU. Like I said Leach has more talent than Campbell but still needed 2 TO’s and 2 missed Field goals to beat him by 2 with a heisman candidate QB. Leach is the epitome of fool’s gold.

If your argument revolves around ifs then your argument blows. "OMG WSU was lucky they got turnovers!!!!" Maybe ISU should have tried to force a few more on WSU

And it was one missed FG bozo because Matt Campbell the coaching god thought it would be smart trying a 49 yarder with a dude who to that point was 3/8 on FGs over 40 yards. Great coaching there instead of going for it on 4th and 4!!!

Wow WSU is a whole 10 spots ahead of ISU in recruiting, massive talent difference!

Wrong. Minshew finished 5th in voting with 122 points. Etienne wasn’t even close and neither was Henderson...he even got more than McKenzie Milton. Nice try at a deflection though.


Btw my apologies, Minshew never went. He was invited unlike the rest mentioned.

Ummm what?? How about you check 2019s rankings? Syracuse average commit ranking is .8561 and WSU is .8445 that is a huge difference. Syracuse class is significantly better. That is about the difference between Bamas class last year and UFs class last year.

Everyone knows that when it gets to 2 and 3 stars 247 just likes to throw schit at the wall and hope it sticks. Fresno recruits about the same number of 4 stars as WSU does. However, if you don't want to count that school.Wake and duke both have worse attendance over the past 4 years yet recruited better than WSU. Houston, USF, and Cincinatti all have worse attendance than WSU aren't p5 and recruit better or about the same was WSU for the past 4 years.

LMAO why do you think no good school will touch the guy? Its because he SUCKS at recruiting and can't coach a defense. He BARELY beat a team with 2 4 stars last night with their freshman QB.

How are Duke/Wake similar to WSU?

Pullman is a dump, have you been to Wake/Duke? They're gorgeous campuses with a great academic pedigree.

Houston besides 2 years ago where they were 36 recruit in the 70s and 80s go to 247 again. Cinci again besides an outleir year are in the 70s and 60s.

I never said 247 doesn't know anything. I am one of the biggest proponents of 247 here. However, everyone knows when it gets down to low 3 stars and 2 stars there rankings get a LOT less accurate. What about MSU then? MSU is in schitty east Lansing. About same attendance and WAY better recruiting.


YOu are wrong about Houston and Cinci.

Currently WSU has 3 4 stars.

Houston has 1 5 star and 5 4 stars.

Cinci has 2 4 stars which is only 1 less than a P5 team.

Rutgers is in one of the schittiest cities in NJ and they recruit better. If WSU was actually able to win consistently instead of only when they get lucky and land an elite QB for one year. Then they would have boost in attendance as well. Then their only excuse is being in a schitty area which also holds true for almost all of the B1G and SEC schools

Iowa State’s total offense rankings the last 3 years under Campbell.

I get that he’s at a smaller school, but so is Mike Leach. This guy’s offense has gotten worse and he’s plummeting down closer to the 100s. Why should he at all arouse me?
