That’s why Campbell is the priority. Checks all the boxes and has won at 2 different places with one being a place that’s extremely difficult to win at but if I can’t get the real bonafide proven deal then why should I pass on a guy that’s also the real deal just because he’s 54? Both of these guys are winning at places that nobody wins at...one actually has rings to show off. No knock on Brown because I believe he’s a genius offensive mind but so was Gus Malzahn and other people have won at Troy before.

I would take Leipold. No question. But not ahead of Campbell or Brown. And honestly I'd take Brown over Campbell. Brown could be ours tomorrow. Give that guy 1mil a year for 4 years and tell him after 4 years you're the HC. That gets us to the end of Richtbation. Just spitballing

Odd fit? He’s the perfect fit. He would actually stir the locals without bags. He’s the only coach I can think of that could reverse that trend. He would fit in like Harvey Fierstein at Schlongfest.

1) If Malzahn flops again next year then Auburn’s job is his to lose.

2) He would never return your phone call because he knows that.

I'm wrong about the money. He makes 800k right now so it would have to be 1.2 to 1.4 per season just to OC. That's alot. Curious why you think he'd go to Auburn. Guys a UMass grad. I guess they're keen on him?

Auburn is about an hour 30 away. That whole fanbase knows about him...that’s why. Plus it’ll allow them to pick up and go without changing too much. Btw he’s an SEC guy...coached at Kentucky and played at Kentucky. He was only at UMass for one year.

If Iowa State didn’t fumble in the forth then it wouldn’t have their greatest season. Campbell went up against a guy with 3x the talent as him and left no doubt who was the better coach.
 
****, if ISU doesn’t miss two field goals then the fumble wouldn’t have mattered.

WSU has 3x the talent? Iowa State has had like the 55th recruiting class in the nation, WSU has high 40s low 50s
