If we can’t get Francois then Washington should be dropped (if him being committed is even helping us there idk)

Smith getting the boot.

Then, The rest of the class will be Miami caliber imho if those things happen. Something that can’t be said about several classes the last decade

Some of the best college LBs of the last 15 years were slow. Brandon Spikes, Vontaze Burfict, Josh Bynes, Anthony Schlegel, EJ Henderson, etc.

Lack of speed is a problem in the absence of other redeeming traits. Mathis is a good example of that. Flagg has quick feet, can change directions, he's instinctive and he's a sound tackler. As long as he continues to diagnose plays and take good angles his speed won't be an issue. He has range in coverage and he has no problem making plays inside the tackle box.

Shaq is slower than Flagg on film, takes poor angles, gambles and lacks range in coverage. Speed is only part of the problem with him.

We need speed at LB. If you thought Shaq was slow...
I see what you are saying, but there is nothing wrong with taking a guy like Flagg of you being in quality LBs behind him, we already have Cave and will probably add 2-3 of Hyppolite, Greene, and Flowe. Now if all 3 wants in then you drop him, but that is very unreaslistic
