Mateer was bad. However I will say with OUs defense, and Mateers actual ability, it’s absolutely still possible that he turns it on for a smalll window. Question is can he be steady enough to win enough games to make playoffs. In playoffs he could always hit that window where he plays at his peak and then OU could be quite good… but yeah he was pretty **** bad. Physical talent isn’t his issue.
