2-10! Am calling it now. Seriously, this mess is worse than the 3-7 disaster of a team my first year at da YEW. Laughable because Playboy predicted a national title for us before that season. That’s when I knew the Miami athletic department was horse####! Another reason I was so shocked in 1984 when we ACTUALLY won a championship!
 
I'm hoping Tate proves a ton of people wrong on this board. The only reason he lost the job is because Enos wanted a pocket passer. Diaz should have trusted his gut and overruled Enos since Diaz was Tate's biggest fan but couldn't do that so early in Enos' tenure. Diaz is giving the kid a chance to prove himself in the bowl and I hope he takes advantage of his opportunity. If he does, he'll be the leading candidate to start next year when Enos and TVD are both dumped.

LoL, if coach diaz wants to keep losing team credibilty, that's the perfect move, let 2 loser mentality qb's keep taking the helm and than trying to force the team to rally behind quitters is comical. The players see thru that green *** ****, if coach diaz doesnt want to be the headcoach at UM long, that's the right path to take. Right now, all coach diaz has done is repeat coach speak at complain about the current players and trying to hype up committed but not yet signed recruits as the incoming saviours, that's a formula i have yet to see work. If headcoach does not have the ability to take over a team and get the already signed and veteran players to play at a higher level, than that's not the headcoach for the job, coach diaz, you on the clock, you need to create the right culture before these guys sign, than they'll be able to excel. Coach diaz, you ready coaching backwards, better wake yo *** up!

I stand by my prediction of likely 2-4 Ws next season.

Will revise IF an A Highsmith type comes in for adult supervision.

If I'm wrong, then I win as a fan don't I?

PS...you should go back 12 months and see my predictions for this past season.

NEVER a good bet against the Empirical One.

Not a sure bet, but over any period of time, I don't take many consecutive Ls.

Again, Miami somehow limps to 6-ish Ws, that's not really success now is it?

DELUSIONAL if anyone thinks Miami finishes better than 3rd in ACCCD.

Well, the problem is the first part IMHO. I'm all good with coaches letting their players work out personal issues, family issues, etc....but this was ridiculous from all accounts.

All of that said, as worthless as this season has been...if the kid has been practicing....why not let him get some work against La Tech? We might as well take a look at him, and if our OL plays up to their standard billing....he better have those track shoes on.

Funny, that’s pretty much what everyone said about Perry when Williams was starting. And about Williams when Perry was starting. The guy on the bench is allllwwayyysss better. Always.
