Honestly I’ve watched Canes games since middle school but never followed recruiting or posted on boards til recently. I heard a rumor but I never knew he actually came.

I am not even sure he made it to campus but Golden had tried to fill the gap left by Teddy Bridgewater with Forcier.

It is embarrassing but I'd love to see what Tate's got (for at least a half) in a live game situation. What the he!! do we have to lose at this point?

One thing I know for sure is that Tate is competitive & will give maximum effort. Given how the team loafed against FIU & Duke (and in last year's bowl), having a highly competitive & determined leader in the bowl game is a huge step in the right direction. Tate can set a completely new tone...one where players actually give a S__T about winning.

JW put forth zero effort in last 2 games. I don't know what Perry was doing. If Enos took the time to install Paul Johnson's offense and had our OL diving at knees and Martell running the option and throwing to the TEs, it would be 10x better than the play action Enos garbage offense.
