A lot kids these days and their parents, cannot handle the truth and discipline when they are not putting in effort to reach greatness. They just want to get by and get their ribbons rather than rings. Truth hurts and consequences hurt, but they are very much needed to succeed if anything.

He handled it really well. He was very calm. She wanted to get into a big shouting match with him and he calmly deescalated and explained his position. If more people handled disagreements like that there would be a lot less viral videos.

When I was a youth coach, I used to have a parent/kids meeting before the first practice. I would tell them, your child is special to you, ALL the kids are special to me. If your child is not putting in the effort I expect then I will get aggressively on to him. I will no let your child hinder the development of ALL the other kids, I will remove him if necessary so that the other kids can progress. Lastly, I am not a glorified babysitter! I am a football coach!

People like to blame tv, guns , movies or the internet but the biggest problem in this country is how soft it’s become , with no discipline. Parents want to be cool or friends with their kids.

These kids are screwed once life punches them in the face and mommy isn’t there to kiss them and say “ everything will be ok”.

Her little ******* has heard way worse around his friends at school, in a song or movie.
