Marquise Lightfoot - Landon Tengwall

He also did Samson and was glazing him. Who knows if its all just for clicks but the break down was legit, the film didnt lie. I would just like to see him break down the bad too.

I agree with you. I really enjoy the breakdowns, but highlighting the weaknesses would make it even better.
 
Lightfoot is going to burst onto the scene in 2026! this film is absolutely absurd

Now he’s up to 240 pounds, has another year of development under the best DL coach in America, and will be lining up across from Damon Wilson and two of the best pass rushing DTs in college football... Buckle up Miami has another elite DL

Cause if you are gonna say a dude should be an all American then break down his weaknesses, be transparent. If he makes that a part of the breakdown then when he says a player doesn't have any weaknesses you can believe him. It makes the breakdown unbiased and seems less like pandering for clicks.

He also said ND will have the best Oline in the country this year. Even though UM ***** whipped most of the guys returning and in his breakdown there was ZERO UM tape. I dont want a dude with his football IQ to just do hype. Hes got the ability to dish it out unfiltered like Brooks Austin and Id appreciate it more if thats what he did instead of just focusing on the positive.

Once again he is highlighting all the good the player does and why he likes there game and why he believes they will be good. If you want the bad go watch the film and find it or just watch somebody who breaks down the bad it’s simple

Probably dont want to have to deal with sensitive players and parents and such.. They live on social media and follow all this stuff

I understand the mindset of building a brand and maximizing subs and revenue. He's gotta do what he thinks best. Kids and parents t scan be immature but I dont believe that would hurt his subs.

I just believe he's got the ability and credibility to put on the tape and show both sides of the coin. If all you show is players dominating their reps then its hard to know who really is better than the other. Thats all Im saying.

If Lightdoot is showing Crazy bend but also has a handful of plays where he's run out of the play by a tackle who takes him for a ride then thats something worth highlighting and validates any ranking or list or projection he might assign a player.

Not everyone wants to see that I guess but I feel like most football fans dont want hype only when devouring preseason content. When I watch a vid from a guy like Landon or Brooks I love seeing the weak points that way I dont get blindsided by any deficiencies of the team or even better I am aware how much better they actually got in the off-season.

You clearly didn't watch any of his stuff from the playoffs last year.

He definitely calls balls and strikes.

I'm not trying to be hyper critical of his content overall. Just most of the preseason stuff I have seen from him this summrr has leaned into positive with minimal negative.
