Markel Bell announces new “Bell Burger” at Pops Subs

I still think Brad should have beat Arnold to a pulp for him getting fired. He should have never faced that petty little prick customer who ate most of the food to start with then whine about a refund. 🤣🤣

Nonetheless, It would be benefit Bell to return for 2026. He could be the anchor of that line which will still be pretty darn good.

I agree completely!

Wienerschnitzel is a hot dog chain in California. I ate there once. To call it awful would be doing disservice to the word awful.
I am aware of Wienerschnitzel the German/Danish dish. It is not awful. Quite tasty actually.

Buck Wurst is my **** name. I oftentimes am cast type as a pizza delivery boy.

PS. Everythnig other than food commentary in this post is complete buII$heet.
sir, you are wrong about that chain.

Chili cheese fries and dogs there are to be enjoyed for what they are. evil.delicious, substandard evil; delicious substandard evil - a many times and places for that evil.

Are you going to besmirch long john silvers as well!?

Oh it's like that huh?

Ok ok.... Let me begin with your claims about substandard evil. I see your point clearly. I am no snob as it applies to grease, poor carbs, high cholesterol and nitrates. That said, I'm not sure that what Wienerschnitzel serves was actually a living organism at some point prior. The kill shot for me was the chili cheese "burger" that I ordered with my kids. Not sure if you've had one of these before, but the patty was something that White Castle would turn their noses up at. The hot dogs, while indeed substandard, did not have that same diaboloical level of disgustingness that the "burger" did, but they're also sub-par.

For some added context, I have eaten at The Original Tommy's many times. It too could qualify as substandard evil, but it's delicious. Every time I eat one of their double chilicheeseburgers, I can feel the clogging in my arteries. I ate at Tommy's several times before I tried the WSchnitzel, so perhaps my bar was set too high. If you are in the SoCal area, I am willing to reconsider my assessment of Weinerschnitzel, but I request your presence as we share a dog, fries and a coke while reminiscing over Canes football. I'll even pop.

Lastly, regarding Long John Silver. Have you lost your mind? Most of their menu is deep fried which means delicious heart disease. Count me in.

So on Saturday after attending an abysmal home Canes baseball game - getting cooked in the heat while Canes got cooked in the field….

I hit up Pops on the way home. I ordered Markel Bell burger made like a sub, and asked them to chop up the meat. They use slightly smaller sub bread than I prefer, but that thing was amazing and loaded.

Great flavor, tons of cheese, bacon…that sauce is real good. Threw some lettuce tomato and pickles and it went down real good.

I’ll try to visit and get one whenever I can. Recommend!
