Markeith Williams Ballin in practice!

Heard my guy had another pick today! It’s not a fluke man!! Dude is a baller! Y’all gonna see!!

I hope you are right. We are thin at safety and need people to step up. But, I see a safety who is good in coverage and a tough gamer, but that I can't quite trust to hold up as a physical tackler on the back end. That last part, to me, is critical to the position and why I think he needs more time to develop.

Just needs to add some weight but I like That he’s around the ball a lot

Lmao not every player gonna look like Hulk. Especially at the DB or WR positions. It’s cool if they are big and strong, but it’s not the end all be all. Dude has everything but weight, so that’s why I’m not concerned about the weight. He will eventually gain his man girth (pause)… Word to Jada Pickett Smith lol

Where do you see that? I assume thats opinion, based on his size?

Rumor going around that Markeith is skinny. Trying to confirm.

Maybe he'll be this guy? One can dream. But given Powell moved back to S and all the talk is about Meesh, Harris and Paterson, I want to see it on the field first.

Pinstripe Bowl. And I know a lot of statwatchers will dismiss this saying he had 8 tackles....

I'd say first, go watch those tackles and count how many he finishes himself... several of him hanging on for dear life until a teammate shows up. He also had some plays missed in run support because he was struggling to get there or he was diving at shoe laces. I also remember him bouncing off a moving pile to the floor at least once.

The above combined with his size gives me pause about how he'll show up in run support or protect the back end solo.

Dude had 8 tackles in the Pinstripe bowl. Roster says 175 lbs but I don't think weights have been updated for a long time. Can't wait to see our team rear kick the gaytor. Messidor gonna eat against that gaytor right side Oline.

Dude tackles bro. He's very physical for his size (pause). He's got many highlights from HS and a few here of big hits. Just needs to be a sure tackler.. That remains to be seen for sure, but that's just due to lack of playing time. We shall see.

Now watch those same clips and tell me how many of those tackles or any tackles we had as a team were one v one. Rutgers' o-line pushed the pile on every rushing play. Half their yards were off the pushes from the lines smh. When 2-3 280 plus pound dudes are pushing a 220 pound RB forward, it's tough to ask anyone to push them back.

He’s had all offseason to put on weight to be able to compete physically at this level. We’ll see soon enough if he’s lived in the gym and training table game one?
