I can't imagine.

Maybe Whipple should have said Ohio’s defense ‘corralled us like prisoners in a concentration camp’.

By no means will I get in a long protracted debate here on CIS. Not the place for things that ultimately will turn philosophical or even worse political. Also I am one that doesn't like to give red-X's or down-votes like many do here... if I like a post I react, that's it.
But kryptonite brings up a very interesting standard that isn't always the rule "You don't have the right to free speech when you're representing an employer." While this is accurate for the most part, there are exceptions especially if the content of the speech or expression is challenged using our right to free speech... and that's when lawyers may get involved or public opinion pressure may dissuade the decision... happens all the time.

I’ll assume Whipple’s contract with UMass supports his suspension. Otherwise the school wouldn’t have suspended him. Do so without contractual support could be expensive litigation.

You got it... usually contracts and fine print will cover just about anything. Also other jobs that are not under detailed contracts will remove people at will and lie about the reason. For example the most popular is "he is not performing up to standards"... good-bye jack.

First of all who the h*** hired him to be their head coach
He was their head coach back in the late 90s/early 2000s.. won them a ship and a few conference titles.. he somehow convinced them that he could do it again.. he's actually a really smart guy/good salesman

Nobody claimed there was any crime. The school doesn't want their representative using that language and that's their right. It's his right to tell them to fck off and go say whatever he wants as a private citizen.

Guess you missed “sort of” in my post. Oh, UMass in a public institution so the action has the color of government not private action and the first amendment certainly could be held to apply.

By the way, rape in not a word used only to discribe something dealing with forced ***. It is also the wanton destruction or spoiling of a place. It is also used to mean the the taking of something by force with or without robbery. I think it is clear that this meaning are more likely what was intended. Contolling poeple’s speech is a great power and it is that power that all “sensitive” people seek.

He was suspended by the soft pieces of **** from this board who had an issue with that Hurricane video.

This shiit is ******* ridiculous. Attend sensitivity training lmao. All the work our fathers did to make men out of us instead of *****'s... now is being overturned. How about gender neutral shiit too... there has to be **** running the country. Prepare in the near future to see the military draft again... cause there won't be anybody with balls to fight for the country.

Adding to that. Ladies, if your guy dresses like the guy on the right as opposed to the guy on the left, he likes sausage more than you do.

It's this kinda over reach by liberal morons that then motivates their equals on the other extreme end of the political spectrum to spew real racist/sexist/etc. ****. This country is so f*cked if we keep allowing the fringes to dictate things.

That said, I always appreciated Whipple's fire and acerbic nature- even if he did realize Randy was a lost cause and decided he was gonna call 60 yd pass plays every offensive series.
Much of media has become the 4th arm of government...convicting people without due process.
