Mark Whipple, Pitt OC Has To Be Licking His Play Calling Chops On DBs for this game.....

Pitt has around the same passing offense as Florida and North Carolina this year and lightyears better than VT and GT.

Pickett will be the best QB we've faced this year. If the OL gives Pickett time to throw it's going to be a massacre him picking us apart.

Manure better be careful in this last stretch of games - he's running into coaches who are skilled at their craft (narduzzi/whip, cvntsniff, satterfield) have axes to grind (bortch) or have nothing to lose (Tagfart). That's a tough stretch for him.
Tagfart might have the biggest axe against Manure and the best talent available to wield that axe. I wouldn’t at all be surprised to see FSU handle us.

You’re right about the others too. None of those are great teams, but they’re all far better coached than us

Pickett is not better than Howell. Not even close. Pickett stinks. Not saying he won't look good against this defense but at least keep it real

Howell is one a read QB that thanks to Blake was all he needed.

Pickett can move off reads and diagnose a play

Howell is more accurate, throws a way better Deep ball, is better athlete, doesn't turn the ball over. Way better TD to INT ratio. Pickett has 8 TD in 7 games, 3 of which came in 1 game

Yep you’re right. Didn’t realize Howell has been keeping up where he left off against Miami.

Pitt's been about as bad on offense as we have. They're not gonna do **** on Saturday.
Lmao...

Have you seen Miami play this season??? You think it matters how bad they've been, knowing they're playing against US???

We just lost to a 1-5 GTech squad who had a 44% passer at QB who had attempted less than 100 passes on the season before they played us...

It doesn't matter how bad Pitt is, they're playing Miami @ home, which means they're going to have their best game of the season. We can't tackle or cover anybody on Defense & our offense is garbage against any P5 team that has even a semblance of commiserate talent.

Kenny Pickett, Taysir Mack & Maurice Ffrench are about to have a field day against us.

I've seen Miami play good enough defense to keep themselves in every game, don't expect that to change against Pitt and Mark Whipple. Miami certainly isn't good, but neither is Pitt. It'll be a close game, as every single one we've played is, and maybe if we can make a kick or actually score a TD in the redzone, it's possible we can eek one out.

Pitt's offense is even worse than ours, if that's possible.

GTech's Offense was worse than ours too...

I get where you're coming from, but you're buying too high on this team, we're gonna be playing on the road vs a hostile loud crowd, Diaz & Baker are going to play right into The Narduzzi & Whipple's hands.

Plus, Pitt leads the nation in Sacks with 36 on the season, you know got **** well this OL cannot deal with that kind of pass rush on the road with a loud crowd.

We ain't doing sh*t vs this team lol.

Oh they're definitely gonna rush the **** out of the passer. No doubt about that. I was just talking specifically to their offense cause this thread is about Whipple. People talking like their offense is just going to tear our defense to shreds, I don't see it. They're pedestrian as **** on offense and overall the defense has played decent all year. If we can just end the game at the end of the 3rd quarter, our defensive performance might be OK. But if we need a stop late in the game, forget it.

And BTW G-Tech's offense scored 7 points last week. Yet another game you have to literally try to lose for it to actually happen.

This is a 10-7 game if I've ever seen one. Hilarity will ensue when both offenses take the field and both fan bases will be left wandering about the point of being a sports fan
