I realize it's not the most reliable source...but where there's smoke (you know the rest)

I've been saying this since the day after the arrest. It was too much of a coincidence that:

1. The police were "already in the area" responding to "another incident" and just so happened to see Walton driving recklessly enough to pull him over

2. The news camera crews were there within minutes of him getting pulled over because they even have footage of the police offers administering the field sobriety test to Walton

Something just doesn't smell right about the whole situation...

I think it was a conspiracy that involved the Jews, the Illuminati, the Skull and Bones and the son of the guy who faked the moon landing.

It appears to me this Slater fella is worried about getting sued and trying to cover his tracks. I know just as much as everyone else that wasn't there, but this impersonating a cop stuff seems ridiculous. The young man made a young man mistake. He'll learn from it and grow. I look forward to watching him play for the Canes again.

Go Canes!

What's the over and under on how many Miami cops knew who Mark Walton was the day before his arrest?

Yes, I am convinced that Mark was set up. They will go after Kaaya next in order to cripple us.

The Miami "reporters" Matt the midget the Susan the cow need to do more "reporting" and investigate stories vs retweet and report crap that are just handed to them. Was he vehicle similar to the car Walton was driving? Did the description of the suspect at all match Walton? etc..

The kid just happen to be in the area and the cops found reasons to pull people over to find the suspect (which i don't have an issue with) the kid was stupid for being drunk and on the road but thats about it... our "reporters" instead of finding facts just wanted clicks and kept the story line going

Amen

Social media has pretty much turned "journalism" into a joke

I could have swore that Walton wasn't pulled over or driving...He was in the drivers seat of his on, but parked car. Don't remember where I read it

I see stories printed that if I had submitted them in my early 80s HS journalism class, would have gotten me an "F." Like attorney's, the journalist profession has taken a nose dive...Welcome to the age of comm majors with no real experience (outside of getting stoned), setting the narrative.

Miami players face an additional hurdle of the local media being celebrity-obsessed twitter junkies whose "editors" demand page clicks or else; our previous regime fell for the fawning coaching stories (which the writers knew were simple "access maintenance" throwaways) while hanging the players out to dry and enabling the local biases.

You try that garbage in Tuscaloosa, Trailerhasee/Tallahicky, O$Uckbus, or Ann Arbor and you have your first experience riding Greyhound...Here is hoping old #9 treats reporters with the same disdain as Saban, Crazy Jim, et al., if they go after his players.

1. It's likely this young woman may have called the number the alleged "officer" gave her and police pulled over a car matching the description she gave. Hence, "already in the area". If Walton denies the encounter with the woman, the police could have arrested him on another charge (DUI) at the scene, with intentions to investigate the original complaint further. Walton could have said I gave her my number at the club or who knows what without substantiating her complaint. Can't see how the impersonation sticks without a witness. I suspect more will come out like text messages or something if further charges are filed.

2. As far as news camera crews being there within minutes; you really have no basis to say how long it took to pull Walton and ultimately do the field sobriety test. You make it seem as if they lit him up, made him get out of the car, and immediately started a sobriety test without asking questions or checking his DL.

This is tacky... Nothing to see here.

Regarldess of the bs impersonating cop story, he should slow it down drinking wise

Yeah because his liver is going to rot from cirrhosis if he keeps consuming .06 blood level of booze.

You self-righteous holier-than-thou turds need to check yourselves.

Look no further than The Federal Reserve, they had JFK killed and this would be nothing for them.

And who controlled the Fed at the time as a secret de facto chairman? One Rafael Cruz.

I'm not stupid enough to not believe there have been and will continue to be actual organized activities (conspiracies) regarding both legal, political, corporate and governmental activities. Easiest way to discredit a tip or fact is to label the the tipster or informant a "conspiracy quack". None of the previously mentioned organizations are above criminal or fraudulent activities.

This should be entered into the contest for Dumbest Post of the Year.
