If you aren't breaking the law, why should you need to be polite to a police officer who is harassing you? If they are abusing their power, why is it the victims fault when they get shot for trying to stand up for their rights? Under no situation should an average stop turn into a shooting, regardless how disrespectful you are to the police. Its not illegal to be disrespectful, it is actually our first amendment right to say/believe what we want.

Dont forget that police officers are public servants whose sole purpose is to protect and serve the people.

There are definitely issues such as profiling that need to be addressed.I agree 100%.However,you won't solve anything by being beligerant or fighting with the police on the side of the road.You will not intimidate the police and things will escalate quickly.Look at the Mark Walton situation.He kept his cool,facts started to emerge, and he was vindicated.The truth will come out but you have to trust the process(****,I sound like Golden).Things need to change,I agree.Being a police officer is not a job that I would want.I have a neighbor who is a sheriffs deputy and he is one of the most racist people I know.It's due to the things he sees/encounters while on patrol.I have heard some of the stories.It's hard to have a conversation with him and I try to avoid doing so.It has to be really aggravating being profiled,I can't even imagine.But,I have to refer to this again-show me a video of someone who is doing what the officer said and gets shot.Trust the process,let the officer do his job,and the truth will come out.Just ask Mark Walton.

History shows that dumbasses(from all races) that fight with the police get shot.I don't have a problem with history repeating itself.There is my perspective.Obey the law and act like civilized human beings.The rest can be sorted out later.Mark Walton is proof that the truth will surface.I hope that he receives a full public apology and those that broke the law are punished accordingly.

Why don't you try it out then? Start a fight with a cop, see what happens. I've never really like cops, I'd rather just be able to shoot criminals dead, then we'd have one less criminal on the streets and in prisons. That big fat guy in NY that was choked, arrested 29 times, he should have taken his welfare check away after being arrested a few time, then killed him after a certain amount of arrests. To many **** bleeding heart liberals that have destroyed this country. Cops gotta be a little less gun happy, but I'm all for them killing criminals.
