More than half the driving population drives under the influence to some degree all the time. A pig cop can just say you're DUI and you get arrested for it. I believe the law states that if you are under the age of 21 and drinking/driving then it is an automatic DUI. It does not matter how much alcohol you have consumed. The officer is just doing his job, so stop acting like he had it "out" for him.

I've lost a couple friends to drunk driving (causative and reactionary), so my subjective take is to kick the piece of trash off the team if it is in fact the truth. Or, since we cater to the hood kids whom apparently are above the law, suspend him 5-6 games. If it happens again, kick his sorry trash *** off the team.

There needs to be a NO TOLERANCE rule for this by all universities regardless of how much money or notoriety a given individual brings to an athletic program.

Regardless of background, every non-retarded kid learns not to drink and drive. Plus there are alternative options:

-sleep there (if possible)
-call family
-call friends
-call a taxi
-call a cheaper option like Lyft or Uber
-****, wait there and hang out for several hours (if possible) while your senses slowly return

final verdict: suspend 5-6 games (2 games is a joke suspension). Any more offenses: out
