A @WPLGLocal10 report says a woman accused Mark Walton of posing as an officer. That report is NOT accurate, Miami PD tells me.

If this was Tallahassee, the woman would have been arrested for resisting arrest and interfering with official acts.
 
Aren't there rules or ethics for journalism?

If this crap turns out to be not true as far as him being this other suspect, if it was me, I would put money into suing these fückers. whether its successful or not, a line has been crossed if he's not charged with the other stuff.

FFS the local hacks are tripping over themselves trying to make dubious connections between separate incidents.

The tripe that passes for journalism in this town never ceases to disappoint.
 
If you're reading this, Walton, and you didn't do that cop impersonation that the media bozos have published to the world you should sue them into oblivion.
 
The only thing linking him is some crazy broad giving out his number. Seems legit.

It's shocking how the local media and half of Cane "fans" are trying to bring down Walton.

Nebraska WR Brandon Reilly recently got a DUI (an actual dui, not a .06). It was barely covered, even in local media. He's not suspended, and may miss 1 game at most.

Yet posters on here are clamoring for Walton to be gone. Unbelievable

Well for some members of our society...its guilty until proven innocent. Much of the love these student athletes get is merely due to fans obsession with the team/sport. There is no true love for these young men. Most on here could give a fug about these guys outside of football.

UM fans and Miami media are generally *****. They're all about tearing the program and players down.
 
Local 10 has a new story now. A more responsible representation of the facts, with a better headline.: clickity clack.

There are some scary alleged truths in there, which I won't highlight because FREE MARK WALTON. But hey, circumstantial evidence, maybe a timid SOA, and we good.

You know how easy it is to sensationalize this sort of story? You know how easy it is for some dumb broad to claim Walton or any other dude was "impersonating a cop?" It could have been as simple as them having a little traffic mishap then pulling over and getting flirtatious and the dude going a little overboard with the flirting or the chick having remorse for whatever reason.

You drama queens need to learn to let **** play out and not start falling into the media sensationalism trap. Burying this dude based on nothing. Buck the fck up.
