Sooooo just a week after spring ball? Mark Richt CLEARY told them not to do anything stupid and Walton just couldn't wait....

The later part of your statement is obviously where the real issue could be. These freaking kids love to needlessly exacerbate things once they get in or think they're in trouble.

Not good news for him. Hope richt is lenient. Dui is a no go and richt just kicked the backup kicker on the team off because of his 2nd dui arrest. Never an uneventful offseason smh

yearby homer gus choc, not worried about RB situation. Hopefully Walton will learn. Richt will not take this lightly if true.

At least we get to see what Richt's discipline system will look like. He already dismissed a kicker after getting his second DUI. Richt made comments about his need to dismiss him since it was his second offense of that type. The kid obviously needed help.

Walton is a first team RB, though. I wonder if he's gonna take the Jimmy Johnson approach to discipline where he allowed much more leeway for higher caliber players. Maybe he'll take the Bobby Bowden approach and just make the kid run some stadium steps or something (lol)--or at least some 2016 equivalent of that.

They don't get it because they have extremely limited life experience. Kids make a tremendous number of bad decisions just because of that. Once in a while there are significant consequences. That's how people learn how to live. I hope this was a learning point for Walton.

There is no substitute for personal life experience.
