Mark Stoops

Hey, if he's a a great coach then I want him in Miami. Just let him prove it first.

Its going to take him awhile

So move on to the next candidate. This isn't the time to hire coaches who haven't done **** as a HC. Miami may not want to enter a bidding war but you've got to get a coach that is a proven winner. Let's see what Stoops does this year with his third recruiting class on the field.

Dave Aranda please

I have been screaming about this guy coming to UM for two years now as the new DC. AG can stay in pace as the defacto HC/CEO but let the DC run the defense his way, not to mention he can teach AG his attacking 3-4 scheme. Aranda runs a 3-4 scheme that is based on speed and movement with athletes on every level, and would be lights out with miami's athletes. This guy preaches getting pressure with 3 downlinemen and a 4 rusher coming from anywhere on the field. An he will bring a 5th guy if needed to get pressure on the QB.

The best part is UM can afford this guy right now. He is in the last year of his 2 yr contract with Wisconsin, and they had to break the assistant coach bank budget to pay him the first time around. Not to mention Wisconsin can only offer 2 yr contracts which was one of Beliemi's biggest gripes with the administration.

Good interview of Aranda.

Plays 3-4 two gap but just listen about how he intends to attack. Also he moves his best pass rusher around to get matchups.

Dorito does none of this.

Name me these proven winners we can afford.

**** we might not be able to afford Stoops.

And this is only Stoops 2nd class, he was hired at the end of 2012. 2013 was his first class.

If you're going to hire a new coach go offensive minded.

I want to hang half a hundie on people not win 21-14.

who the **** really cares outside of what looks pretty. a W is a W no matter how u get it. we need more Ws then 50 point scores.

Which of the Stoops brothers was at Miami in 2001? I would target him and make him a priority.

Do we even have a shred of a clue what Goldens buyout would be? 'Cause in the real world.....you'd have to take that right off the top to start with.

List of good coaches that wont be that expensive
1. Butch Davis- He just wants an opportunity to get back into the game and will take little money to do it. Louisville got no backlash for hiring petrino so why not.

2. Rod Chudzinki

3. Mario Cristobal- I thought he was the heir apparent to the coaching job before he left for FIU

4. Bud Foster - Has payed his dues and and one of the best DC around

5. Mike Bobo - Heard some great things about his offensive mind and QB coaching

6. Go the NFL route and get a young up and coming coordinator or assistant and Use Jimmy Johnson to help with the search. He loves Miami and will do it no charge probably.

:neonu:

the booster and alumni can raise money for this. If we got a coach we wanted. lets stop it. Kirby hired Al knowing the NCAA was happening and he figured this guy is coming from temple so he will stick it out.

Right, just like they raised the money for Steve Spurrier? Or Jon Gruden? How did we end up with Randy Shannon? Then the next search was down to Randy Edsall and Al Golden.

You guys still don't get it. This job, and this school will NOT pay top dollar for these big names.

Answer this question - would Edsall have done any better here? Sheesh, he's awful.
