Mark Richt

Disagree.

1. The schedule lined up perfectly for Miami to have a perfect regular season.
2. Great coaches beat the teams they’re supposed to and the teams they’re not supposed to. The reason why you fire a coach is for better coaching. Shannon or Golden could’ve lost today’s game; you don’t need a $4M coach to blow a game to a Pitt team like that.
3. Even if you believe this is all on Malik, coaching should have allowed Miami to be more sound on STs - which from where I sit seem to be poorly coached all year.

I’m not putting it all on Mark, but it’s his responsibility when his assistants don’t deliver. That said, there isn’t nothing that says Miami can’t win next week, but I’m not going to bury my head and say that was Alabama level of management of inefficiencies.

Tet, I agree with much of what you stated, no argument. But I think it has to be factored in that Walton was lost for a good portion of the season and Richards was hobbled. Today, really was a dose of reality, though, regardless

Must add that I didn’t like the decision to pull malik that late in the game though

I actually loved the decision. This team is still learning and sometimes you have to take a L to come back stronger. Rosier has to know that playing like that is not acceptable.

This is the best season Miami has had by far in my adult life, best recruiting class Miami has ever had.... Coach Richt saved us, thank you. :U5PyXda:

The guy started 10-0 with a QB who had offers from Arkansas State and Furman. That's Coach of the Year stuff, not Blame The Head Coach stuff.

This. Rick is a pro. And I watched him coach a lot at Georgia and he’s a better coach now because he’s involved. When he had Mike Bobo up in the booth calling plays it’s not like They were burning up the scoreboard. I was a little surprised that he didn’t start calling more misdirection and putting Thomas in motion on the play fakes to throw the defense off when it was obvious Malik wasn’t on target. But I think he saw that and kept expecting Malik to make the adjustment and hit his guys over the top. It never happened. Rick was vanilla but I think he kept waiting like everyone else for Malik to settle down and get into a flow

He’s a good head coach, but his offense didn’t get it done. Why is it that our D has to contend with all kinds of creativity against opposing offenses but our O shows little if no creativity?

Plays were there, Rosier was playing drunk or something..... we had receivers running open all day long. For whatever reason he wasn’t able to hit them

Because he's not accurate...Love him to death for what he has accomplished this season BUT, we knew this was coming at some point. He can't hit the broad side of a barn at times.

Real bad loss, but it’s been coming all year. We are very average at OL and QB. Still real disappointing to blow the perfect season this late in the year

I actually thought it shoulda came for a drive maybe in the 3rd...I think he was waiting for Rosier to get in his rhythm as he has been bad in the 1h of other games. UNC/FSU, etc and then made big plays in 2h. But when it got to mid 4th, I probably woulda stayed with him, but mine isn't the one that matters, and I think the fact Richt pulled him shows just how frustrated he was with Rosier today. He felt they had no chance for him the way he was missing people.

His press conferences are starting to irritate. He sounds like he is just content to be here regardless of win or loss. That **** will permeate down to the players. You are here to win! WTF is up with that soft *** ****

Richt didn't lose this game, malik and the offensive line did

Idc what anyone says, worst performance I've seen in a long time

the throws were there, enough to win the game and then some

We won't be dominant and expected to beat everyone until we get talent on our O line

Amazing, you blame Rosier for this loss! Tell me
the last QB to win a game with a 45 yd running
game output?

I see your point, but if we take that literally...Teams do do it, especially pass happy teams.

But yes I was at the game, OL was bad obv, but if there was one main reason we didn't win the game...It was Rosier, there were plays to be made.

Brandon Linder, Mongo Feliciano, Orlando Frankilin, Seantrel Henderson, Erek Flowers, KC McD, StL, Donaldson. He have had talent. Probowl and 1st round talent. And we have sucked for over a decade on the OL. Talent isnt the issue.
