Mark Richt will get it done (Long)

The team will be fine. You can take over a team with alot of pieces that need a different scheme or coaching to put it over the top. Our team was being run by some of the worst coaches in history. Sorry, we didn't have 2 first round RB like UGA to help out a QB like Rosier or a defense filled with all americans brought in by No D on wefense. If we had a better QB, we beat Pitt, LSU and cheese heads imo. Wasn't beating Clemson, closer game likely.

I cannot compare the state of our team to any other i seen get turnt around quickly. Recruiting at the level we are will turn this team around. Shannon and Golden were average recruiters. And under Richt we lost some good prospects but we got some good ones as well, we weren't scraping for NJ specials. I think by the end of the season we will have taken another step forward, dont know if its beating Clemson but we will be fine. By the way for context when jimbo got in there FSU cleaned up Florida recruiting, that didn't happen instantly either and similar for mentioned before Clemson.

You recruit at a championship level, you compete at a championship level. Its that simple for me and i see that on the horizon. Obviously some of you are seriously mad and think if we change 3 or 4 things in the coaching and coaching staff it be all fine and we're in the playoffs, i don't see it. I do believe they should put the talent on the field. Lingard, Gurvan hall, the OL and the Fr QB. That team that went 10-3 last year did not have one player go top 2 rounds

The only thing Mork Rich will do of significance at UM is fund his vacation home on the French Riviera.

There was enough talent to win the coaRstal.

It's clearly a poRst that's critical of your God and savior, CoRch Rix.

Before Dabo and Clemson, Jimbo and FSU with a similar formula ruled the roost. If Miami doesn't make the necessary revisions to what they are doing, someone else will fill the power vacuum in the conference. We will not win the ACC by attrition. Maybe it'll be FSU again (not under Taggart), maybe it'll be Virginia Tech again, or maybe it'll be one of those "team of the year" types like when Wake and Maryland won the ACC in the 2000s. At this point, you're just hoping we come up when the "Team of the Year" roulette comes up and thats a real ****** place to be in.

Dude, I agree with everything you're typing! PLEASE keep preaching because I don't see this team winning anything with the coaches on the staff and the main one that we need is an OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR.... you get someone like Briles, we will be offensive for ALOT of TEAMS.

Until Richt gets a better staff, the team will continue to get smacked in the face when playing a worthy opponent. Also, you mention recruiting, hasn't he kinda underwhelmed/been unable to close strongly the last two NSDs?
Herein lies Miami's biggest problem, since the LSU bowl loss, when Soldinger, Kehoe, Hargraves, and Dan Werner were let go Miami has paid
nothing in terms of salaries to assistants. Those guys were replaced for pennies on the dollar, so unless the budget for assistant grows don't expect
much growth in this area.

You need a head corch that can identify and evaluate assistants just like players in order to win with UM's budget constraints.

Not sure we have that yet.

I would like to know why he hasn't figured this out with all his connections?? He has no motion in the backfield, no diversity what so ever.
His wife makes a banging lemonade, though!!.... for $250,000 a year salary.

We didn’t hire him to be a perennial top 10 school. That’s for Michigan St. I refuse to be his new UGA.

Baby steps...And I just don't know if UM is ever be able to compete with the cheating going on elsewhere...We get probation for taking kids to bowling alleys. I think he has a high floor, and I'll take a high floor now and maybe, just maybe he gets us a little higher

How many times we finished top 10 last 15 years. You got to get to top 10 to get to top 4-5 where you can make playoffs.

What a bunch of made up crock. Come on guy you can do better than that.

That's a worthless argument.

How many times did the Washington Huskies make the top 10 in the 15 years before they made the playoffs last year?

I totally understand that you have an emotional connection to Corch Rich but you don't have to use fallacies to prop him up.

How many times did Corch Rich finish in the top 10 and NEVER make the jump to national championship?

8 Times in the Coaches Poll. 7 Times in the AP Poll.

Miami fans need to figure out what they are...are they Tennessee fans, never again to be a Top 25 team...are they Nebraska fans...yearning for the return to glory, but will perpetually be only a Top 25 Team. Are we Georgia fans where we are perpetually a Top 10 Team. Or are we the University of ******* Miami where anything less than championship #6, #7, and #8 is unacceptable?

I haven't seen Miami be a perrenial top 10 school enough to already be tired of it. I feel like our fan base is so entitled to our microwave dynasty that no coach can fullfill the expectations.

It was different when every school east of the Mississppi didn't have a foothold into Miami recruiting, but they do. Even if they don't they go and hire a former Miami coach in order to do so.
