And I don't wanna hear anybody $h!t on Rosier's performance and say, "but it was Duke".

If it was "only Duke", then why did we almost lose that game if it wasn't for a blown call (Walton's knee was down) by the ref?

Just watched this again.

Those are some sweet throws in a real college game

That back-shoulder beauty, was as nice as they get.

He might be very mistake prone like many are saying, but he can make the throws, even if it's just Duke, those were big league throws.

Does Rosier still have that awful loopy delivery?

I'm not defending him, he could very well be the worst out of the three guys, but one thing I know for sure is this: he doesn't have a loopy throwing motion. Apparently you've never seen him throw.

If Shirreffs starts for this team at QB, I'll have zero expectations for this team.

It's gotta be Rosier, until Perry is ready, IMO.

And for the crowd that's concerned about who starts vs FSU, remember...Dorsey won His 1st start as a sophomore vs FSU, & Jacory won His 1st start as a sophomore vs FSU. Not sure if Berlin got His 1st start vs FSU at UM, but I'll assume He did. So there's a precedence of success for veteran 1st year starters vs FSU.

So I didn't just watch the Duke highlight clip?

You call that a loopy motion?

Tebow had a loopy motion.

He's got a slight hitch, but the ball gets out of there fast enough. His motion is compact enough. That's what I'm seeing.

Supposedly the issue with him isn't his throwing motion, or his arm, it's his decision making.

Great argument over nothing. Way to go.

Haven't seen anything, but I'll be surprised if Shirreffs is the starter. He flops pretty badly in scrimmages. I'll be shocked if Rosier isn't the opening day starter.

Still a lot of football left, but I see a two-man battle between Perry and Shireffs.

So you've already eliminated Rosier?

What have you seen that makes you take this stand?

He makes too many mistakes and he's not talented enough to get away with it.

But I've been wrong before.

So is he still making too many mistakes in this year's practices?

I know people said that last year, too, but he did end up as the number 2 during the season.

If Rosier is still making a bunch of mistakes, then Rick is lying and playing possum because he was raving about him today.

Excuse me, but who the fūck asked you.

Like some nosy child, you have to jump into a discussion about QBs throwing motion. It's a sports message board. People talk about that kind of shīt.

Let the adults talk. Now go back to the children's table and eat your pudding.

I agree, I feel like we handicap the offense to and extent if he starts with the lack of arm strength. I'm all for Rosier or Perry

Good move on Richt's part. Two seconds after he declares starting qb,someone will start talking about
transferring except Perry.

Yep. Zero expectations. We won't win a game. Nope, not even one.

No matter who the starter is, I'm expecting a 10 win season, because I believe our TEAM is good enough to win 10 games.

:monkey-serious:

I'll help you with reading comprehension:

Zero expectations means I won't be disappointed with anything that happens, because I won't have any expectations to define success or failure. It doesn't mean I think we'll win zero games.

You, on the other hand, will have expectations no matter the starter. You believe the team is able to overcome the QB play of a "almost walk-on" quality QB to win at least 10. And that's great for you!

But I can't do it. Setting myself up for that kind of disappointment would only make me more aggravated that Kaaya left a season too early and Golden couldn't find more than 1 decent high school QB to sign to his roster in 4 signing classes.
