I'm actually (gulp) going to agree with Brock for once.

Kaaya needs to get live action reps in this new offense. As long as the offensive line isn't a complete abortion, I'd like to see him play into the 3rd quarter.

He's got 3 exhibition games to get his work in. You'll be crying like a baby if Kaaya gets an ankle rolled up on in the 3rd quarter of a blood letting. Kaaya is this team this year.

If they're getting any pressure at all, yank him once we're up by 20.

Morris was never the same for the rest of the year after injuring his ankle in a 77-7 win against Savanah State.

All it takes is one linemen fūcking up once, like in this game.

Once we get a comfortable lead get him TF out of there.

Same here! I was driving home from work and I just answered without looking at the #..next thing I know, I hear Coach Richt talking. I blasted my Bluetooth as high as I could lol. Listened like 2-3 times.
 
I would like to see a 70 spot hung on FAMU and have the refs use the running clock, mercy rule. I wanna see blood on the field.
 
big difference I'm expecting with richt is that he will expect the 1's,2's, and 3's to execute, which offensively means scoring. Grohlden putting in the backups was a train wreck because of expectations and poor recruiting..

We'll see the second stringer, possibly, before the half. Third stringer in the 4th quarter. This game will be very, very ugly, which will be a beautiful thing.

I'm reading that as more of a comment on how outgunned FAMU is than how amazing Gus is. Nothing against Gus, but I think the "omg Gus is amzing" crowd will be disappointed this year.

Not really defending GtB...just think some assessments have been harsh without game day action.

Maybe the young man is the next Christian Okoye...maybe the next Sammie Smith...who knows...lets see him in a Richt called scheme with live action...

Totally agree. While I offered an opinion on his future performance, I rarely do so. I know fans love to predict things like how many yards a back will have, but the genius of sports is that we don't know. Way more fun (to me) to go in with no expectations of individual performances and see who shows up. I expect a greatly improved team this year, I just don't have any guesses (with the exception of Kayaa) as to who will be a star and who will fail to produce. Can't wait to find out tho.
 
Anyone else think this thread was any the Florida and dolphins linebacker from years past
