they asked about running up the score and he said "I will never apologize for a victory"

They asked about overlooking a perceived lesser opponent and fan criticism if the score ends up 21-7 rather than 42-0. He said he'll never apologize for a victory and he's never coached a team that wasn't excited to play.

Context is meaningless. I'm rolling with OP. Rick meant that he's going to run up the score on FAMU and not apologize.

When asked about ex-players on the sidelines, he said we won't do that until probation lifts, then we will create energy on the sidelines.

Which I believe means, **** the NCAA, ex-players will stand where I say and if I want to give them a few snaps in the game I will.

Does a (the) backup QB see the field tomorrow?

In a good the Canes are in control sort of way...

not the Kaaya is convulsing and spitting up blood by the 2Q sort of way...

You'll see at least 3 QBs tomorrow.

You think Kaaya, Rozier, and Testaverde take snaps? That would be a good thing so long as it isnt a "Kaaya crapped the bed sort of way"

Go Canes.

Kaaya will go 12-15 for 200 and 3 TDs. Then, the other 2 will get reps, and we will run the ball incessantly in the 2nd half. Wouldn't be shocked to see Gus go for 100 in the 4th quarter.

Nice. I was wondering what Richt would do when Petrino was going for the 8th TD before the half ran out.

I don't want to see Brad after halftime.
Kaaya has to play period to get his rythym right with the new receivers. He's replacing 2 of his top 3 wideouts and is in a new offense.

If he's not suspended, I don't want Coley's fragile *** out there any longer than a quarter. You don't need Kaaya's ankle getting rolled up on in the 3rd quarter of a 45-2 game just because you're trying to get some rhythm. Kaaya's straight.

I'm actually (gulp) going to agree with Brock for once.

Kaaya needs to get live action reps in this new offense. As long as the offensive line isn't a complete abortion, I'd like to see him play into the 3rd quarter.

He's got 3 exhibition games to get his work in. You'll be crying like a baby if Kaaya gets an ankle rolled up on in the 3rd quarter of a blood letting. Kaaya is this team this year.
