Hear me out: the banners to fire Golden clearly worked, however, canes fans took a bit of a hit in the media (undeservedly so). I think we should fly a banner on 10/8 against FSU. Open to suggestions of what to put, but I think something along the lines of "In Mark Richt we trust" or "We Believe in Brother Richt" maybe even something simple like "Richt > Jimbo"

I'm willing to throw down on such a banner. I'm all in on Richt.

Since he is an alumnus, how about "Welcome Home Richt?"
 
I like the welcome home idea, especially for the FSU game cuz he hasn't been a part of the FSU Miami rivalry (on the Miami side) since his playing days. I think most on this board would throw down for a banner too. Maybe everyone can submit suggestions and we could all vote?

1. No Flying Fuggs given on what the media thinks.
2. The best way to welcome Coach Richt is by showing up to the home games. And by showing up I mean being
there to welcome the team on the Cane Walk and getting loud during the game.

That's how you welcome him and his staff.
Banner stuff is getting played out.
Let it rest already.

People don't show up to Miami sporting events unless the team is worth a ****. The fans are more fair than the **** Florida weather.

He shouldn't be shown any appreciation until he 1) Beats FSU and 2) wins the Coastal. He doesn't deserve anything for simply taking a job offer.

The first banner flown was a pro-golden banner. How did that work out for everybody?
