Almost seems like Toney wanted to be a Cane from day one, but I don’t really follow recruiting because it’s far too chaotic. I do know kids who watched us in our glory days were dead set on coming here even under the awful Al Golden regime in addition to some lackluster Randy squads. Duke Johnson being an example of one of those types of players. Regardless of what happens Monday, hopefully local kids aged 8-12 or whatever are inspired the same way by this historic run❤️🤩

Was on trips to ohio st. early, committed to miami at some point, decomitted and many on here said he is not a true cane and stop recruiting him, lol.. Went on trip to Bama I think then came back and committed to miami again.

Lol this is why I don’t follow recruiting that’s quite the schedule to follow and I just can’t ever fault a kid for not choosing us or flip flopping because ya know…he’s a kid. I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do at that age and I don’t expect these kids to have it all figured out either. They’re just trying to make the best decision for themselves.
