Stop saying that it’s one game ****t dude ain’t got it give his snaps to the young boys behind him ( Payton, Smith etc )

Hes not the only one that stumbles, everybody fuxking stumbles when there is a lane to run through. They do one little cut and trip over their own feet..

Pope was a far bigger deal coming in , they were putting him in the same boat as the Ridleys of the world. There was a ton of guys not sold on the cats you named. It was 50-50 with the fans. The bigger the south Florida recruit with high rankings the more pressure/hype. Imo that’s his biggest issue , he seems to be thinking more than just playing, like it’s a confidence thing.

Maybe he breaks a long td and that sparks him. If not the younger guys are coming.
 
His body and arms move very quick but he doesnt go anywhere. I just dont see the football player in him. I would not have him on PR the rest of the year. Dude has alligator arms and no confidence.

Cribby i totally agree! But, til we have more then 8 scholarship wr + few then he is gonna get every oppurtunity to shine because the pups are just as clueless right now.

No doubt he’ll play but losing reps could definitely happen. There’s still games to go before that discussion.
 
Take him off pr. He's going to muff a lot of punts

The WR group needs to be Wiggins, Payton with Harley in the slot
 
Pope and Harley aren’t terrible they’re just not very explosive and both are easily replaceable..I’d roll with Wiggins, Payton and restrepo in the slot getting a majority of the snaps

I think they are, there not showing it and they can't get off the line of scrimmage bump and run them all day. Its on tape now so every team does it to them 2.
 
What is this one game nonsense? We've seen Pope play in a bunch of games now. He's not terrible, but he's not the game changer that we all hoped. Kind of reminds me of Graig Cooper in that his arms and legs are moving real fast but he's actually not going very fast. I don't really care what his 40 is or his shuttle, it's not showing up with pads on in a game, that's all that matters.
 
People always say “don’t worry about WR recruiting, we’re in South FL” Some of it may be due to poor QB play but the reality is we have not had many difference makers at the position in recent years.
 
Pope is just so f'ing disappointing. I think the two recruiting misses that KEEP haunting us are Herbert and Pope. Our receiver and O-line depth charts would look a lot different if those two had panned out.
