Mark Pope

Dont love his vision on returns. Pick a lane and go. You can only dance around if you are elite like Hester.

Holding off judgement on WR play until we get some more burn. Nobody was on with timing. Hoping we see some improvement there

Fine with keeping him at KR but absolutely can’t let him be a PR anymore. Has such a low football IQ and we have equal athletes that I’d trust to make better decisions

Exactly. If we cant trust him vs UAB we defnitely cant vs Clemson or fspoo. Never thought I would yearn for the days of Berrios just fair catching it

Is he ever going to put it together?

Not hating off of one performance yesterday - Just asking what is realistically going to achieve here?

Fumble was poor but he did look a bit quicker at some stages.
He should not be on special teams period.

This. He's built like a guy that needs to be a burner, but he's not. If you're gonna be that small you better have afterburners like Santana or quicks like Roscoe. He doesn't have either. I don't see any traits with this guy that pop off the screen.
Open your eyes! Because he has both! I will trust the people who see him everyday in practice over one game from sum guy on a message board.

Pope got a bad head. Didn't even try to go after his own fumble. It's like he was expecting something bad to happen! He just walked away. 50% of all 5 Star players do not make it. Turn the page and move on.
Of all the days to leave the bridge, did you really think 9/11 was wise? @RVACane

I don’t trust him to return punts. He ran backwards a few times because he thinks he is Devin Hester. He most definitely is not. That muff could have lost the game for us if we were playing a decent team. I hope I never see him back there again

I was nervous every punt. I’d rather Restrepo return punts.

Pope is who he is. Not his fault that the morons who do recruiting rankings had him rated so high. I think he has some upside as a returner (when hes not fumbling) but he's a #3-4 receiver at best

I’m not quite ready to give up on him but you do know where the term “ Greentree all American” came from? It happens at every level , some kids ball at practice but when the lights come on things change.

Y’all weird as ****, yeah he fumbled but so ******* what he had a nice catch and a few nice returns after that. Y’all act like any of the other receivers did much of anything last night. He by the way had the longest reception from a wide receiver last night so what’s the point of this useless *** thread? The passing game clearly wasn’t a focal point vs uab...

For someone as quick footed as he is, he stumbles legit every time the ball gets to him. His play speed so far isn’t up to par with his actual speed.

I’d love to be wrong, but right now he doesn’t have it.

Highly overated in HS. He just isn't very talented. Wiggins has been the better player here and thats not going to change this year.

He showed a little something on a couple returns...I guess. His one catch was nice. But stop telling us how great he is. You all know who you are.

Trust me cribby! i kno, im a die hard been a cane since 81' was born in 72' so til he leaves or graduates he has a chance to do something. What if we disregarded langham, finley or mikejack or redwine.

Do you say you’re not hitting off one performance then specificities point to one performance.

Who said he was great? One game and you all know who you are! And you jump on him. ****, trevor lawrence didnt start game 1 or 2 his freshman year is he a jag or orangetree all american?

He's just a guy. He'll get opportunities, but if he doesn't start making the most of them, I can see Jeremiah Payton eating up his snaps very quickly.

Even if everything broke right for him, he's like our WR3, and PassCatcher 4 or 5 on the team (Wiggins, Harley, Jordan, running back)...not really important enough to have a deep dive conversation on and have strong takes. He's just a guy that might have a good game here or there.

Omg stfu. It was one ******* game. If you liked him before you should still like him, if you didn't like him before this game you still shouldn't like him.

Anyone changing their mind after last night's game is legit retarded.
